I took the time to read everybodys posts and have come to a conclusion. Quadz pays for this little world we post in and I would trust no one else to be fair and  impartial to the crap we sometimes post.
If you have the balls to say " I can't believe we are gonna be censored!" I say to you try and say fuck you to a judge in court and see how much that freedom of speech will cost you. You get to do that here for free appreciate it.

Notice the trend, and how all of it but about 3-4 messages are now in the entropy pool for being nothing more than "flames or trolls or generally rude posts outside of the two smack talk boards", then read her tastyspleen hosted website which consists of insults, baseless accusations and implications that anyone who doesn't believe she's on the level (based on all the fake photos) must either be gay or on drugs or have AIDS.

While we're at it lets try and remember back to when these rules were written and the situation that led to this occurence.

Yup... I'd agree no protection is needed once someone has donned their own big bad troll suit and is willingly engaging the other trolls at their own level -- or rather, at some mutual lowest common denominator-level.

I notice it was almost exactly a year ago when I was still trying to suggest to spawny that attempting to out-troll the trolls was unlikely to be a recipe for success.  Especially if one has a tendency to suddenly begin taking insults 'seriously' as a flame war progresses.

But, she disagreed, indicating that she believed "attack is the better defense", and theorized it should be possible to respond to insults with such ferocity that others would conclude, "this crazy bitch will not stop!!", and would decline to engage her further.  Skeptical, I responded, "haha, but at what cost?", as I was picturing massive collateral damage with very little upside.  But, she didn't see it that way.

She's just a delight to have around, and she's truly contributing great things to this community.

Ah well.  In any case, I do still enjoy playing on xrazy (which I'll note, by way of the the stats, got 40000 frags last month compared to 20000 on xatrix, so it appears others enjoy the server too.)


Really, as far as the trolling goes, I was kind of hoping secretly the participants (spawngirl included) were all having a bit of fun, behind their keyboards.  But - who knows.

I was having a blast. 

Despite my doubts that her pictures really are or aren't her, I still don't mind her hanging around as long as she doesn't initiate conflict without just cause... which is what seems to be the case... which is why I prod in hopes of more amusing hissy fits. 

I'd be willing to let go of it all if she'd be willing to post a pic of herself sitting beside her computer screen with Quake2 up and running like Devious did. The whole "spawndude" argument wouldn't hold much water at that point. If she can post several pics rubbing our nose in our wrongness, surely one more couldn't hurt. Will this ever come to pass?

no, that would be the fact that she can kick/ban people for zero reason--there are lots of jump admins who amend maps etc, I don't see them with their own server due to the work they give to better the mod...and they're governed under tastyspleen admin guidelines, wtf makes spawnguy so special to avoid all accountability for the actions you'd remove another admin over?  She/he/it is obviously a troll of the highest level and you can't really think any administrative actions made by such a person are anything but frivolous....she uses her admin as a personal trolling weapon and it's bullshit in my opinion.

IMHO, I think she deep down inside loves the attention she's getting. But on a sad note, theres no distinction on what type of attention is it, may it be positive or negative. I'm no medical guru but its like a case of an ADHD disorder that she is manifesting.

Often times, she would just suddenly burst out in a flare of anger over remarks that which should be lightly taken with a grain of salt. Yet, the last time she had manifested it was when she got pissed off (idk if I'm right about this) that she deleted her entire [XZ]clan forums, her TS account and website coz she got muted coz of making some racist remarks.  

But then lately she re-registered here and started her post by saying:

So thats why I think she relish all the trollness and she loves the troll attention she gets.

Likewise just lately, and as usual, she did have some arguments at Vanilla (not with me or was I even there, I just read a condump some other forums) and it came to a point that everytime that she got backed out on a corner she would openly gives out racial, sensitive, unsolicited and offensive remarks( I can post that condump if you want) such as:

Well in fairness to spawny, a lot of people likes to pick on her not because she is a shemale (for which I know spawny is a real chick), but because on the way she reacts to things (more likely a violent reaction) . Such as ,shes trying hard to convince people about that it was her in the pic and she works in that paper:

Well, In a worse case scenario, If there were other people who accessed that site, then what would they think regarding Bolsonsweb then? Surely, any reputable media or portal wont allow itself to be used in such childish and irresponsible act. Much worse,it wont help Patagonia's image that Bolsons web is trying to promote right?
 
When I first saw spawny (she was using Lau as her nick) at vanilla 2, she was the very newbie type, playing alone, not talking and hoping that other players will come and I even taught her about other servers where she can play with.

She was quite the opposite of the spawny today for which I kinda feel sorry.

Spawny, sorry if i'm a bit annoying to you, but what I'm trying to tell you is that you need to calm down. Everyone here (I think) are good people if you just be good to them too. And secondly, take things lightly. Never over react. There will always be assholes that tends to suck you out. Better learn how to deal with them. Fighting a flame with another flame would often lead to escalation which would bring out the worst in people.

Anyway, it was her decision to come back here and with the same attitude as before even if she knew that the trolls she hated and cursed would still be here. Then let it be. Its always enjoyable to see her posts and the outburst she makes in the servers  .

As I've said before, when I decided to waive the server fees, it means I have essentially treated the server as though it were one of the independent, rented Q2 ports we host here.

When someone rents a server port here, it hardly seems up to me to interfere with how they admin it.  (Obviously there are limits, for example if they wanted to provide a haven for cheaters then I simply don't want their business, etc.)

So again, it seems you are taking issue with my having waived the rental fees in this case.

As it happens, no-one has asked to run a custom jump server.  (Although, for the record, spawny didn't ask for xrazy either.  I offered the server when it became apparent that (a) she had authored more than enough overrides to populate a new server, and (b) her map choices were stylistically different from traditional xatrix maps, causing some friction with xatrix players who preferred the original maps.)

But yeah.  I'm pretty sure I'm willing to extend this offer to anyone in the quake universe.  If you can show me 50 to 100 map overrides you've created for mod "X" that are maps that have never existed in that mod before, and it's obvious to the admins that some real creativity and thought went into the overrides, then yes: I will happily host your server and waive the rental fees.  This offer would apply to quakeworld, q2, q3, q4, warsow, etc.

Incidentally, on a couple occasions, spawngirl has actually requested that I move xrazy into tastyspleen zone and remove her admin access.  But, I felt she may have made these requests in moments of extreme frustration, so I have not acted on them.

Now, speaking of bullshit, the last time someone complained about admin abuse on xrazy, I scanned the logs and found something like exactly two punitive kicks over an entire month, both kicks occurring within a 1/2 hour on a given player.  As I recall, contrary to claims, the kicks did not occur while the person was 'winning' but rather while they were talking smack.

So I've scanned the logs again.  Here is every rcon command issued by spawngirl since March 1st, excluding status, say, gamemap, and timelimit:

Haven't researched the specifics, but it looks like 1 kick on March 6th and then a kickban combo on March 29th.  Two admin actions in the past 45 days.  (And note, the kickban on the 29th was the same spree Palin was on that got him muted and then temp-banned from tastyspleen zone as well.)

So really, is the complaint here?


Srsly Arm0r, I'm getting the feeling you've become so accustomed to being as much of a dick as you like on any server without repercussions that it really chaps your hide just knowing there's an independent server out there that can choose not to put up with you.

funny you would make that statement with zero credit to put behind it, let's see some logs of me on xrazy harassing anyone...hell, let's see some logs of my talking shit to ANYONE besides vae in the last 6 months...im willing to bet you can't, and your answers were half assed at best--spawn has zero accountability and in essence neither do you huh?   The fact you let her have any form of admin makes your judgement questionable at best, if only paradise could see this, im not the only one who feels this way, take a look at ur forum for all the proof you need.    She's a bad admin, futile arguments against this FACT are exactly that.
