was told to play on your servers I should get "ac", was on your mutant server and a player told me to get it alot of times so I thought it would be important.   How do I go about getting it and what exactly is it

A newer client is recommended, if you use r1q2 or aprq2 you might as well have the a/c (AntiCheat)

It's a module that works with another client other than your regular quake2.exe, that you'll use to prove that you're legit when you're kickin ass.

You'll need an anticheat capable client like APRQ2, EGL, R1Q2, or Q2PRO

and the anticheat.dll thats available at the link gator gave you.

they'll both go in your c:\quake2\ folder and you'll use one of the other executables to run quake 2 and use it.



If you need any help setting up one of the clients how you like it, feel free to ask on here.
The websetup for R1Q2 is quite possibly the easiest way to go once you've downloaded the anticheat.dll.
