NBC rejects pro-life commercial

I'm pro-choice, but I see no problem with the ad...both sides want the number to go down and the ad doesn't demonize people who've chosen to terminate pregnancies. THE problem though with the ad is this:

It stands alone among the other purely consumption ads therefore becomes a distracting lightning rod, generating (hopefully) good discussion, but unfortunately such high-priced ad time cares not for furthering civic discourse -- only for selling the illusion of self-improvement/desirability. So the ad must go.
