What are your favorite things to drink?
Personally, nothing would make me happier right now then to have a bottle of crown royal: special reserve at room temp. in front of me right now. I love that shit. Wild turkey rare breed is damn good as well, but after special reserve I think i'm going to go with chilled Goldschlagger. Shits like taking shots of big red gum if you keep it in the freezer.
Beer comes after liquor for me, although I drink more beer than liquor.. solely due to $$. My tastes in beer also change more than liquor, but right now I've been into lord chesterfield, the other beer that the PA company that makes yuengling produces, and molson ice. My tastes in beer change regularly, but I will always be able to enjoy some good mexican beers like dos equis and pacifico.... red stripe is the heat as well.

Whiskey, whiskey, whiskey. In all forms and lots of it.
I don't necessarily have a favorite type or brand but I do find myself drinking Jack more then any other mostly due to the fact that's what people buy me at the bar, have at their home or bring over. I however usually end up buying a random top shelfish whiskey lately considering my financial situation. At the moment I'm working on a bottle of Bushmills 21, last week on a cheaper scale I finished off my Knob Creek... in the past my regular bourbons were Bulleit, Eagle Rare, Makers Mark, etc...
Back when I was 21-23 I was a huge (cheap) Canadian whiskey fan... Crown Royal, Seagram 7, Canadian mist... the fixin's for
black tooth grins
which then equated to broken furniture & windows. Good blurry memories...
I don't often drink anything else but whiskey but I'll buy a bottle of Sailor Jerry now and then... if there is vodka, tequila, jager, goldschlagger, sambuca, anything really, I'll drink it. I don't think there is a single alcohol out there I would pass up.

Captain Morgan's Deluxe Dark Rum
Found this a month ago at a private liquor store a few cities over. Can't buy the regular stuff anymore.
Kokanee Beer.
But, like Jager said, if anything is put before me I'll probably drink it.

Beer, draft, coors original. Sun-Wed $1.50 all day at Snuffer's.
I love bourbon. Cheap for @ home. Old Crow or Heaven Hill. If I'm payin I like Makers.
Scotch, I love that too much. Cheap, king of the $13.00 scotches is clan Macgregor. Expensive I go single malt like The Glenlivet or Laphroaig.
I occasionally drink jaeger shots, but they are such a mind eraser that I'm currently trying to avoid them. Sometimes I'll have a cheap fuck ot tuaca.
My personal fav shot (and its not really a shot, you gotta sip it but it is served in a shot glass) is the African version (ice is required in the regular version but there aint much ice in Africa so sans ice) of the Rusty Nail. Large jigger of scotch and small jigger of drambuie. I love them in the winter. Small sips and you feel them going down your chest then they warm your toes and work there way back up to your face. It's a good feeling.

I used to have a cast iron stomach, I'd drink any damn thing you set in front of me. I was a big scotch fan. I even drank that nasty god damn mezcal with worms in it. I really don't even like drinking liquor anymore. It's not something I truly enjoy drinking. The taste of the alcohol just isn't that pleasant.
But I do love a good beer. I can't stand the domestics though. Budweiser and Miller all taste like fucking watery chemicals, not beer. There's a few domestic brews that are decent though. Sam Adams makes a few good beers. There's also a few microbreweries around the US that made some interesting stuff. Sweetwater Brewing here in GA makes a good English brown ale called Sweet Georgia Brown thats kinda like a Newcastle but less bitter and more sweet.
I love the German beers. Especially hefeweissens. My all-time favorites have always been Paulaner Hefeweissen with Franziskaner Hefeweissen coming in second. I don't really like any of the american style hefeweissens, they just don't have the same full taste. Other than that, I like a few of the other German and Dutch beers, mostly darker ones. Dinkel Acker Dark is really good, it's a Munich Dunkel style beer, really hoppy with a nice old world full-bodied flavor. Klosterbrauerei Black Abbot is pretty good, one of the best Abbey Dubbels one could ever hope to find. I can even appreciate the big name imports like Heineken (especially Heineken Dark), Becks, Stella Artois. I don't like any of the Oktoberfest beers though, those always tend to be a little too light flavored for my tastes.
I don't drink wine really. I like a good Italian port, but the rest of it just tastes like rotten old fruit to me. I'd rather just have a beer.
If I can find it, I love mead. It's sometimes referred to as "honey wine", even though it's not made with grapes like wine. It's really interesting stuff. Usually made with primarily honey and fermented with yeast, I've heard of a few folks that make it with other stuff like hops, raspberries, or spices to add some hints of other flavors to it. The only stuff I've been able to find was Lurgashall. Depending on the style, it usually ranges from about 12% to 20% alc/vol. One of the oldest (if not THE oldest) alcoholic beverages ever made. Not something I'd want to drink regularly, but definitely interesting for an occasional deviance from beers.
Then of course there is always absinthe. Trust me, you might as well stick to plain old alcohol. It's nothing special.

Agreed! Kentucky Tavern isn't bad for a Jim Beam rip off as well. I am not ashamed, but I mix my booze with coke, so why waste my time buying higher end stuff. For awhile my gf banned me from Beam (I was banned quicker than Razor off the forums) it has always made me a bit crooked in the mind. Like a dogs back leg. We broke up, so I am back on it.
But, typically I drink the Rum, started with Bacardi, then found a nice cheap version called Castillo. Which I mix with coke as well, so no point in wasting cash. Less than 10$ for a liter and doesn't taste 'too' bad.
Now tequilla is a different story, for personal use (sounds like bud) I will only buy Patron. Which I am sure most are aware is a great thing. If I am buying for a party, I will go with some El Toro or nasty shit, just to watch people gag.
As for beer, I can't drink it anymore, it makes me feel full as shit before I get boozed up. And most beers taste like shit to me, I kinda wish I enjoyed the 'good' beers. If I do drink it, I go cheap and redneck, then bust out the Nati Light in a can. I did try a Blue Moon the other night and it wasn't too bad. Then quickly went back to the mixed drinks.
I am a bit of a red wine snob though and always enjoy a good tasty one. My father retired then opened a wine store, so I always get to try different wines. The Coppolla wines are not to shabby.
And to wrap up my addictions - I am all for a nice car bomb to get the night started or ended - It is a tasty way to start the boozefests or to end them.

mixing old crow with coke used to be my poison as well, but as I've gotten older I've found that heartburn goes away with the absence of the beloved coca cola. I mix everthing with water or club soda now
not as bad as you'ld think, I've gotten used to it. I like and prefer it like that now.
still...nothing beats coke

Me being only of a few Canadians on here, all hail Molson Canadian! (well, not really)
Sleemans make a pretty good beer, and so does Okanagan Springs.
As for whisky, I prefer Crown Royal with Coke, lol

Watery chemicals? Uhh... I don't know about that...
Nothing more annoying to me then the dude that praises the fact he's a huge beer advocate, naming off beers nobody has ever heard of or would care for then takes shots at the most sold beers in the world. It's rather douche imo... To each their own I guess... You think American beer tastes like crap, I think it's awesome. You think your Euro beers taste great, I think they taste great too...
Personally I like any kind of beer out there, I'll drink what ever.
The Modern Marvels on beer is a good episode (as is the whiskey one), check it out if you haven't seen it yet. They explain America beer... no it's not chemicals.
King of beers for the win.
