It's a little early for predictions seeing as how the brackets aren't up yet, but I figured why not make a thread so everyone could voice their favorites, and here's mine....

Novice: originally I was going to back my clanmate and friend Dynamicz (DyN) but then I saw Dukie signed up and had to change my favorite. Dukie showed up at like all of my matches last time to cheer me on, was pretty cool. I think to return the favor I'm gonna ref all of his matches in this tourney.

Sport: I have to back myself, cuz well, I'm t3h sean :) - beyond that I would have to go with either hindsight or slacker (depending on which maps they have to play)

Pro: Damiah - he's a badass :P

You won't be busy long reffing very many of my matches, you should have the second round free to ref somebody else LOL

Hard to narrow down my choices in Novice and Sport because I know a good amount of players from both brackets.

well ,I think for novice I would say Maddy or digency cuz,I mean ,Maddy railz like there's no tomorrow,she's gonna win her games easy.
sport,idk...there's many players that can win,I'll just wait and be surprised

as for pro,the same as sport ^^^^^^

There's too many people in Novice to single one out - too many names!

Sport: Myself, tr3y, Mya, n/abusive, corky, and of course my nemesis... Laurelin.

And what the hell... BANES. Yeah yeah....

Pro: Ummm, don't know too many of these guys too well. Of those I've played I'd have to say Naym!is is one of the most sportsmanlike... so I'll have to go with him

Novice: I haven't seen many of these players. Ill go for either Kobra or Ratt.

Sport: With the current map voted so far - it will go for compact action (aero, dm3, ztn3, ptrip). I know its probably a good set of maps for sean. Hinds1ght may perform good on these too. If q2dm1 gets in the list, Id say brix and Requiem will be the favorites.

The novice bracket is going to have some of the best action. I don't mean by blowouts of players who don't belong in Novice -- this was/is being fixed. Rather, players with very different styles.

Key factors:
* lose/gain focus under pressure
* some are all offense but lack item control
* some are q2dm1 only
* some are rail only
* some have unstable net connections
* practice & map knowledge!

Underestimated Player
* Bleach -- who may clean everyone out if he practices

Wildcard Player
* DuoKaizane -- slicker movement than some sport players (e.g. me)
* hieronymous -- a solid player, don't know what will happen
* the maxpingers -- who are now lowpingers

Players with Style You have to Root for
* KobraKlaws
* {TNP}Dukie
* {SX}Om3ga.S
* Maddy
* Rogal
* max ping
* maxPINGjr
