Rules

1on1 Nade Tourney

• Latecomers: The Referee will wait 1 min from the Scheduled time, after which the missing player might be replaced or a BYE be allowed, up to the player who showed up. Any player of any game should be there in advance so that we don't create delays.
• Players disconnecting during a game will have 120 secs to rejoin otherwise they will be W/Oed for that map
• Top-bracket player picks first map, bottom-bracket player picks second map. Both players may agree on third map, otherwise player with best frag/death differential picks tie-breaker map
• Same map may not be picked in the same Match (best 2 out of 3)
• Any unclear issue will be dealt with by the Tourney Admins/Referees

• Latecomers are welcomed to join in
• Players disconnecting during the game may reconnect, their total frag count will be cumulated after the race ends with the help of our stat engine

I felt the 1st Nade tourney had a decent response, and yet, it seems like lots of people would have liked a chance to take part in it (or a second chance). I've decided to give it another try. I will try to optimize the things that lacked. There will be a few polls regarding different settings.

The addition of a Grenade Launcher (to have both the dynamics of a GL and nades) will be on Poll.
The Fraglimit of the Race will be up to change as well.
We've had feedback regarding the amount of nades you start with (which was 0), so this will be up to the public.
Also, I'm trying to figure out the best time to kick-off both tourneys to accomodate, east coasters, west and europe people.

The 1on1 tourney will be Double-Elimination, it's only fair that you play two games at least. Regardless of the amount of people.

I will try to implement a way to allow for last-minute replacement. The way it works right now is

We'll try to get two servers running for the 1on1 so we get more games at the same time.

And Maps will be nominated within the Signups page so everyone has their say (user-friendlier way of doing it).

We will allow last-minute players to fill in BYEd spots at the condition that the seeded player accepts.

The Bracket will be set up to 16 unless we get an excessive amount of signups in the last days.

I was hanging at the EoM server checking the goto list every so often to see when people were starting to file into the nadl server. I could've idled there but I doubt it would've mattered.
