Competition?

Hey, I'm registered on the Novice bracket, and I was just wondering who I should look out for? Like who is the pick to win the Novice tourney and if any way possible any tips on defeating the person. It would be much appreciated. Thanx.

LoL! I was just asking who the big competition in the novice bracket is, I was looking down the list, and for example (not to dis you man) but I beat Omega like 20-1. I was just wondering because I am some what new (2 week player) to the tdm scene but I played ra2 for 2 years before. So thats where I get my aim, but there's no need to say I'm not ready because I am in the Novice bracket which is for newblets like myself (not calling anyone else in the ladder a newb). Well in other words I should say beginners. But thanx for the comment  . laterz

Watch out for Maddy...I seen her play a couple of nights ago, and she looked like a really good Sport-type of player.  Tips to beat her?  Don't know what else to say except try to stop her from getting a railgun.

As of now, I predict Maddy and Digency in the finals.  Never seen you play before, but I heard good things about you that gives me a reason to believe you could possibly make it that far.

There are a lot of players to look out for.  It's going to be very competitive to say the least.  Just hope we get enough players and we keep the BYE's at a minimum.

Interesting that you brought that up.  The only skin I have ever used in the tastyspleen servers (not counting teams) has been Razor.  It's also the only skin I ever used in Q2 since I got the game back in 1999.

My avatar is as Q2-related as it can get since it's the same character.  And plus the Q3 Razor model also happens to be the best one available in that game too.

Here's hoping for a Q4 return. 

In an attempt to keep this post on-topic...Another player to watch out for is Shadow.  He's always willing to practice 1vs1, and I recommend playing him sometime to get a good idea of how talented some players are in this bracket.

Played Digency on Railz today.  On maps where he could control the access to the weapons, he dominated.   On maps where weapons were freely available everywhere, it was much closer.  I beat him one time, but I think he didn't have that map downloaded from the beginning of the play.  Otherwise, it was lopsided in his favor, most often.

Well, kinda liked using the strike dude from q3, and hes black (like me) i was looking for an q3 avatar, and this is what i wanted to use. if there was anyone besides i wanted to use, it would have been xaero or bones.
