I wondering, if its possible to play music from my hard drive instead of CD's in quake2, as im lazy and cant be arsed to copy music to cds, is there a program that allows ya to do that? cause when i run winamp with songs it dont play in quake 2 :\
Any help appreciated

yes its possible
set s_primary to 0 in quake2
and you shoudl be able to play anythign from your hard drive

it should work. unless you have a really old or crappy sound card (works with my soundblaster pci128 :p)
i would think it would work after you reset quake. put it in your autoexec.cfg

I've got an Audigy Gamer, they're nice, but I've got the older model, these new ones look a lot better.

Lol. Thanks again fer helping me to get it working, was a combination of corns and yours. i set primary to 1 in the cfg file then changed sound compatibility to max compatibility. now its all good
