yes but that's the whole point, you would hit the timer bind for mega as your health dropped < 100, or heard the appropriate health noise from your opponent.

oh and timers suck, i've never used them so it's hard for me to understand how much easier it is than simply looking at the gameclock.

Assuming you/your enemy had 100 health upon picking up the mega, and you/your opponent didn't get injured while having the mega.  :exqueezeme:

you misread what he said..

I see now, but I still don't see how you could time the mega when your opponent has it. (unless you have someone venting you their health)  :badgrin: :exqueezeme:

Whenever your opponent receives damage it's an indicator of their health from the sound you hear being that different sounds are made as your health decreases, which you prob. already know. for the timer to work how I was referring to, you would start the 20 sec timer for mega when you hear the crossing to <100hp sound from the opponent. a nd you'd get that sound from hitting them or listening to them inflict damage to themselves (rj, fall damage, etc..)

Speaking of which, you can have sounds that will announce "100", "75", "50", and "25" so you can gauge when to move in for the kill. Personally, I'd have to consider those not only cheats, but EXTREMELY annoying for a crowded FFA game. I'm pretty sure I didn't include them in my sounds archive for that very reason (along with loud footsteps and buzzers for water). Everyone hollering numbers the whole time, you'd have no clue who's damage points you were actually hearing. But as long as the hash list for AC doesn't cover it, I suppose it's not technically cheating.
