help me decide which chess board to get

krez, I think a nice hot-pink board would suit you.

#1 - The board is set up incorrectly on the black side......"white to the right, queen keeps her own color"...the black queen is on a white square.     I like the shape of the pieces.

#2 -  Nice colors but the bishop looks like a pawn on HGH, too easily confused 20 moves into the game.

#3 -  Silver is black and gold is white....OK....but the pieces look like cheap perfume bottles.

#4 -  Ditto #3, AND the queen/king configuration is wrong - again.   

#5 -  OK colors and shapes are good.

Both of mine are all glass,  been wanting to upgrade but dont have the spare $$$.

you'd be surprised, those boards arent as expensive as they look.  pic #5 is only $120

#4 looks classy. My parent's have a pretty all glass set which looks too fragile to even use imo.
