i feel this is a very serious topic that efects every level of player to serious noob all the way to expert players that just like to bitch about $hit.. the fact of the matter is that spawn campers are players too,, they arent using any cheat technology,, they just use a tactic that seems to offend alot of peeps.. NOW ITS UP TO YOU IF YOU WANT TO BITCH AND COMPLAIN ABOUT A SPAWN CAMPER !!!!! ARE YOU GONNA BITCH ?? WELL ARE YOU??

i say just let the spawn camper be.. if you really have any skill then you wont get beat by some spawn camper,, you would be able to weed those campers out and come out victoriuos. and if your "just another player" then your ass is gonna get beat by MY superior camping technology HEH E HEE.

I kinda like hunting down and wasting campers...spawn camper or hall camper...either way ... and they may even kill me like 10 times before I get em....but if you kill me once...know Im coming straight for you until your dead...and I do like that spawn protection that is on the servers...its a cool way to fight spawn camping....you shoot me at spawn...you die...hahahahah...it's perfect!!!

Ya, kill me 20 times but I'm still gonna do my best to get the camper....
I also like the intial spawn protection - even though sometimes you die cause your shootin at someone else and the rail goes through them and hits someone just spawning and you die.

anyway...camping and sniping are 2 different things. Occasionally I like to snipe .....crawl into the corner of some high space of a big room and rail teh bastids...

Then people say I'm camping....to me....camping is:

1) killing people as the spawn
2) doin some hardcore chillin right next to a powerful weapon and killin anyone that tries to get it
3) being a dumbass and staying in the same spot the entire level, shooting blindly trying to get to at least 10th place.

i think it depends on the map, some places have really open areas with a power weapon, and everyone mobs there, i dont remember what map it is, but there is a rail gun in the center of this area, with some stairs and a box hanging from the top, and everyone just mobs over there and theres hella rail fights, sometimes someone will bring a hyper blaster, and you can climb those stairs to get to some red armor and a super shotgun, i doubt anyone considers that camping

also another thing sometimes i go to the rail gun, and someone is there, i have to dodge him get to rail, then kill him, then as im leaving i find someone else and kill him before he gets the rail, then some items or armor spawn, i go and get those, someone else comes in and i kill him, as im leaving i hear someone elses footsteps and jumping or some sounds that give him away, i come back and kill the original guy who i found when i was weaponless, he now accuses me of camping :\ do people just want me to run away from all these potential frags in order to avoid chilling in the same spot for too long, its not like im waiting for people they just keep coming in

Also.....I know what u mean about the weapon thing too.... a lot of times I've been accused of water camping in q2dm1 but it's like people just don't stop jumping in there while I'm tryin to get out......if I hear someone then I'm gonna kill them.....just gotta wait for a gap in the traffic
