This is why movies suck these days. If it isn't a remake of something, or a blatant facsimilie of something else, or a film based on a hugely popular trendy book series, then people won't go see it. People only want to go see shit that they've basically already seen and follows the same format as every other thing they've seen, and yet every once in a while they have the cajones to complain that "Like, ohmuhgod, there's tooootally nothing interesting to watch."
