Tasty Spleen TMG Railwarz server please!?

Bored, came across this one!

Who wants to be told how it is now!   

Anyone who has stated multiple servers will kill a community your theory is 100% debunked ( and common sense has been proven)

all it takes to keep a community alive is a small group of dedicated players, if these players are somewhat friendly their group will grow over time, and the pressure to be a dedicated player will ease.

Million Railwarz servers up now.. We usually play on  Mythical Beings Dallas (Tastyspleen) and Chicago Railwarz  CTF servers.. we play both FFA and CTF Railwarz.

It's such a simple and easy mod anyone can jump in and play (very little to learn one shot frags, start with rail gun, unlimited ammo, cap the flag, defend the base, its not rocket science), 

The rail refire rate is 2x fast compared to regular Quake 2 Railgun. so the frags come easy and compliment the speed of the lazer hook.

we get random players from all over..  even with 10+ Railwarz servers existing the Main 2 or 3 get played on night after night and players are almost always on just 1 server at a time.


our player base is a mixture of oldschool Railwarz CTF veterans, players from other CTF mods, and new / random players who end up sticking around cause the server is consistently busy night after night

Theres little to learn or think about so you play with out all the pressure that other CTF modes have.
The great thing about having multiple server locations is everyone gets a fair chance at low ping.
Also in case of emergencies theres always a back up server ready to be played on!
Easily get games going on the alternate server the same night or next day.
Wallfly makes it extremely easy to switch back n forth between server! 

any mod that wants to survive and or have a successful revival should have multiple server locations the community will migrate to where all the action is this is common sense..

Railwarz Reborn!

I have really enjoyed the other varieties of CTF, like L-Fire CTF, Expert CTF, and LMCTF,  though it's quite a bit of work to get games organized for those mods for some reason
There are a ton of other variations of CTF out there too that never get played.

so.. I know railwarz is the most awesome quake2 mod of all time.... but after a while even railwarz can become a bit boring using just 1 weapon and playing the same 8 maps over n over..

Working on setting up WODX CTF server that will be just as easy to jump in and play like Railwarz CTF, but bring a bit more fun and variety to the table.. everything WODX 2.6 has to offer!

+hook2 and +hook5 both feel almost as nice (maybe even better!?) than the TMG Railwarz hook the WODX mod has so many extra features like spawning monsters, 70+ weapons and all sorts of stuff i have no idea how to do or where to begin... here is WODX Documentation explaining everything!  http://forum.tastyspleen.net/quake/index.php?topic=18842.0

id love to see a shambler or some other monster or mech warrior defending each base.. and air strikes come down and wipe everyone/everything out! so many bizzare things that make playing on WHALES EYE server so fun! 

I hope some Railwarz, and other CTF people might be interested, and i hope some WODX and other DM players might like to come try WODX CTF on Whale Warz CTF Chicago.
