Or, you can unplug your modem and plug it back in. That always worked for me, when I had cable with RR. I have shittay embarq dsl though, atm.Or, you could of course listen to the candidateRandom, but I found out crow{x} lives a boat ride inland of the island I live on(45 min boat ride, 2.5 hour drive). He's on the mainland, coincidentally in the same location that my bro metal went to be a groomsmen for a wedding this weekend. I think he said he has RR cable and pings like 70 to t4. WOW, that's bad. being that me pinging 50+ is bad, for our location. I should be getting at least 25 and him 2-3ms less. Sucks to have cable, on the mainland mind you(Here, powerlines have to travel 50-60 miles just to even get off the island.. which is why he's a quick boat ride away yet a long drive) and still have that ping.
Maybe I should insult him into getting a better isp?
i tried to turn off modem for 5 minutes and didnt work.i turned off the modem during the night, and it worked. thanks

if your ip never changes there is a way to change it. either leave your router unplugged for 10 minutes then plug it back in, if that doesn't work leave it for 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours and this will force you a new ip.
after the old one died in mid-October.
