i went back to v3.14 for a second to see if i could double jump....and well here is a demo of me doing it....the q2dm1 jumps were planned.

dude, you want some ketchup with that dick?
it was just a response to claims that djing wasnt possible until after the physics were changed with 3.15

why argue about q2dm1 and it's jumps?
The map was designed for a reasonable amount of vertical type combat and jumping.. what a surprise.
consider this:
there are 2 elevators on the whole map.
the whole map covers quite a bit of vertical space, almost all of which is accesible.
stock Q2 doesn't come with a jetpack.
I can't think of a better way than jumping to quickly cover all that ground
and ascend those heights...
The level designers at Id aren't total fools... they definitely layed
out the rocket jump to the mega (thus the extra rockets). lol.
the crazy jumps that you fairly l33t types like to do are probably more along the lines
of pleasant coincidences mixed with millions of hours of people playing q2dm1 and jumping off of
every concievable spot.
(Anyone ever heard that saying about the million monkeys jamming on a million little typewriters..)
I don't think that the mappers were themselves incredibly skilled
players (and the physics patch wasn't completed yet) so they probably could not forsee
anyone moving in the ways that people do now, to utilize that space.
although, It's really not all that hard to "plan" out jumps while mapping either.
once you know how much of a runway you need and how high/far a skilled player can jump,
it's a cakewalk to add combo-jumps all around your levels...
doesn't take much to allign a little detail here and a little extra trim there to make for some cool
rocket and/or strafe jumping opportunities.
Who want's to bet that q3a would have never had a jump pad if it wasn't for q2dm1 and the physics
update?

Titties what I meant is that you're so unintelligent that everything you say is too retarded for normal people to comprehend with. Even when you're _trying_ to talk shit to me, you're in your own little idiotic and pathetic world
Oh, and being able to dj has nothing to do with the jumps in q2dm1 being planned dude, lol. The whole argument was nothing to do with djing. 1) q2 did not start w/ v 3.15 2) Some of the jumps were obviously planned (as discussed in previous pages) 3) you CAN'T DJ in 3.14 physics, DL the q2 demo, you can't do it. You were probably playing in 3.15 physics
But then again what do I know, I'm just some hpb that posted some screenshots for ditzu and in return he gave me his hax.

I don't worship the devil. Jesus is Lord, friend. He died for your sins. He will forgive you if you just ask.
