Last meal

If I was on death row and had a last meal request it'd go something like this.

Fried oysters
Fried monkfish chunks
Fresh yellowfin tuna raw or barely seared
Fresh seafood in general
Leg of lamb cooked over a rotisserie
Skirt steak flash seared medium rare

I'd be happy with even 2 of those.

A 16" mediterrainian pizza from the Athens Pizza on Clairmont Rd in Decatur GA. Not even joking, it's THE best pizza in the entire fucking world. If anyone is ever in the East Atlanta area at any point, go there. Been going there 25 years or more. Theres several "Athens" pizza joints around the metro ATL area, but the one in Decatur off Clairmont is the REAL one, the others are fakes. Would I rather have a blowjob or Athens pizza? I'll take the pizza, not kidding.

Only on Thursdays (I think), they have lamb shank. Fuck my eyeballs its incredible. They only serve it one night a week though.

The greek lasagna is pretty good, but its kinda small. They oven bake it in crock bowl and as soon as it leaves the oven they plot it on your table while its a mere 2 degrees cooler than the surface of the sun. And it blisters the shit outta your mouth, but you cant stop eating it.

I just actually had pizza last night and eating it for left overs tonight. It's a rarity to find a place down south that does good pizza, aside from your best place in bigger cities. This place was the best pizza I've had in years at least. But, this is coming from someone who has never been to NYC or Chicago. I did work in long island and the jersey shore for years though and ate plenty, but this pizza in ocean city MD takes the cake. I like medi/greek pizza too. Other than that I order margharita, vegetarian, supreme, and pepperoni and pineapple lol. Those are the only pizzas I've ordered in a decade.

I wanted to put BBQ on my list. As in, the perfectly slow cooked charcoal boston butt hand pulled in east Carolina vinegar sauce. It came across my mind, just like my crazy thing for chicken thighs. Grilled BBQ chicken thighs are my goto food. I'd take 'em over a steak most of the time. But, it is the LAST meal after all and my list was long enough....

Mango habanero wings from buffalo wild wings, garlic bread with chives on it, baked salmon atop some alfredo looking stuff, then what the hell is that. Looks like either a clump of fried ramen or fried spaghetti squash... with wasabi and a walnut on top. Weird. Then a double-chocolatey-as-shit dessert, a coffee and a cigar.

If we're using visual aids now, just know that I can't seem to find a closeup shot of Olivia Wilde's vagina anywhere, but that would make a pretty suitable last meal in my opinion.

I dunno that I'd call these the "best cigars ever made". They're probably average quality cigars and the most special thing about them is the fact that they're bourbon flavored. But then again... Makers Mark isn't just ANY bourbon. Unlike Jack Daniels and Jim Beam and every other asshole from Kentucky to Tennessee, this stuff actually TASTES GOOD. Anyway, yeah, these things are the shit. They typically run about 10 bucks or more a cigar. If you're into the super long "churchill" cigars that take 3 hours to smoke, these aren't that. They're more like "corona" sized and take about 45 minutes to smoke down to a nub. Some cigar smokers tend to smoke less than half of any cigar because they don't like the way the tar from the smoke collects in the middle and makes the cigar taste stronger shorter it gets. But... they're dumb. You pay 15 or 20 bucks for a cigar, don't waste the shit.



I don't smoke anymore though. I'd fucking LOVE to have a cigar every once in a while, but I know what it would lead to. Eventually I'd get a pack of cigarettes and then I'd be a smoker again. Nah, not worth it.
