Vis problem (Quake 2)

Having an issue with missing walls and whatnot.

Well James, it would certainly help if you could you give a little more info.
Is this a map you are building yourself? Does the compiler give you any error messages during the Vis stage?

If I had to take a few guesses I'd say:
-Just delete and rebuild those walls or make some temporary blocks cover those parts to see what happens.
-Check the texture properties of those walls to see if you have accidentally flagged the walls as 'sky' or 'nodraw' or something else.
-Maybe there are skybrushes on the outer sides of the map that touch or intrude the walls.

For the top two,   It seems to disappear when you step into that recess.  You could block it with a player-clip brush? (total bandaid fix I should be ashamed of)

The bottom 2 is probably something similar,  but looks like a needed to be traveled part of the map (can't tell without being able to turn around)
So needs constructed a little differently.




Acer is right about more info,  and should post this @ q2cafe as well.  Will be seen by a lot more mappers.
Maybe attach the files so ppl can have look for themselves.



Vis is a fickle bitchy girlfriend,  but if you treat her just the right way....    you might get some.  :P
