HELP BIG KREZ MAKE A RETURN TO Q2

krez i used to get that too, from what i remember its the settings on the monitor itself u need to muck with, not quake 2 settings

I just did this without the set commands, then did a vid_restart.

After I alt tab and tell it to maximize the window, it is nearly fullscreen.  It still has the blue windows bar at the top of my screen and I can see the top of my start bar at the bottom, but it is close.

Only thing I can think of is maybe your resolution is off? 1080 is another common height for width 1900.

nah, my monitor has a sticker on it that says 1920 x 1200.

I appreciate everyone's help.  I might be able to play like this.  Does anyone know how to make your crosshair bigger?

gl_hudscale (1 is default, i use 2 on 1680x1050)

that makes your whole hud larger though, the only other way to make crosshair larger is by using a larger crosshair, easy enough to add crosshairs to q2 though
