I actually use Giganews as the provider and use a program called NINAN for downloading. Ninan will download, parcheck, and unrar all files you download. NINAN relies on .nzb files which basically tell it where to download the files from. I use one of 2 .nzb search engines out there http://nzbmatrix.com/ or http://www.newzbin.com/. Basically I search for a file and then click on the .nzb file... it then downloads the file and when it is done it is completely extracted. The days of downloading tons and tons of headers are over.

I'm too busy figuring out any programs to download music. Usually if I listen to something, I can find it here Beemp3[dot]com.

If I were a teenager though, I would be stocking up on anything free I could find. That's really what happened to my hard drive back in 2005. I had gigs and gigs of music. Nowadays, I'm more of a "oh yeah, that one song. No biggie.". I don't buy music anymore these days. And if I really want something I'll just buy it on CD at Amoeba. Which is rare, because I don't waste my money on stuff like that.

I also use Frostwire now that Limewire is gone.  But it's actually pretty much the exact same thing maybe even a bit better.
