It takes patients to mod a game, also it takes patients to get used to older graphics and not just jump onto the newest prettiest game. It also takes patients to set up and configure older games that don't have openGL, W-A-S-D, and mouse look support set up as their default configurations.

Skype is superior on several levels, but right now a mixer conflict causes it to crash when streaming live from skype. An audio mixer would remedy this, and it'll be on my wedding registry (hint hint), which is what's been taking up the bulk of my time lately.
