Don't bother going to that server unless you want to have to try and adhere to some arbitrary standard of playing correctly. Run up the frags too fast, or use rail gun too much and you will basically be asked to leave.
I've never been a "wise ass" on his server. It was made clear that I wasn't welcome because I was railing (gasp) and playing aggressive (gasp). The server is bipolar though, because at times the play was aggressive, when Ex wanted it that way. Then other times he'll chide you for railing too much and fragging too fast, especially if one of his internet wives complains about it. I consider that extremely "Poor server admin performance" by making people try and "adhere to some arbitrary standard of playing correctly".
That server is meant for chatting and quake/xatrix is an afterthought...
And GoGoGadget...not sure why you have any opinion on the matter...at least Ex pays for a legit server to run his favorite mod...your sloppy, pathetic, non-server will never get a fraction of the traffic that his does...and he can actually get people to play there...
Yep, I hear ya. Exti can be a little over protective of his family. But again, that's why he pays for his own server. I take it you are a good railer. I think it's understandable, that if you were on your server with a group of friends that aren't that good and someone joins and starts annihilated everyone, you may do the same thing. I myself, don't mind getting annihilated. Come see me play Optica some time. 30 to 1. AND I think he let's me get the 1. And I still go back for more. Next time you feel like playing on FOX, maybe join and ask "are we playing seriously or just goofing around?". Maybe Exti should put a comment in the server description "non-serious play 80%, serious play 20%". hehehehe

The fact that he doesn't tolerate wise asses on "HIS" server. He pays for that right. And sometimes it's nice playing with a group of friends and "0" idiots in the game. On the other hand, it IS fun fraging the idiots. Not everyone can be as tolerant as Quadz. :-) Why would you even think you have the right to dictate how he should run his server.
just saying, almost every time i see people on that server, its always like 4 or 5 people at the most.
bartons not telling anyone how to run anything, but it could be said quadz' tolerance of people is what is keeping the ffa part of this game alive, because lets face it, if we banned everyone on dm or vanilla for shit talking, there would be nobody playing.

Agreed, Burt wasn't telling Exti how to run his server. He said "Hi. Xatrix mod is dead, spawngirl psm'd got banned from the servers, and don't play on exterminator's server." WTF! I know I still have fun playing Xatrix. I guess I must be dead. Don't rush me. I have a good 25 years left. And we all know spawngirl was a %$#%$^& whose name should be removed from all records of existence. . BTW there were people who actually stopped playing Xatrix because of spawngirl's overrides. Bottom line. I've always enjoyed playing you. You little punk. Even though you kick my ass. But when your boy "burt" posts bull, to welcome back Ping. I gotta draw the line.

Burt, Exti is not my "boy". He is one of many I have fun playing Q2 with. MP and I have been friends with him for years. Poor server admin performance? Based on what? As for the nematode. I didn't even know it was a parasite. I thought it was a type of sea worm. :-) MP is a Spongebob fan. The nematodes are a funny character on Spongebob that swarm in a group.. I was actually insinuating you are a funny character in a group of funny characters. Due to the fact that you insert your negative comments in a thread welcoming back an old friend. Over the years a few people on Tasty have pissed me off, but I don't go into threads where they are posting and try to provoke them.
