/dev/random / Hi everyone« on: July 29, 2009, 09:41:55 PM »
I'm going to be getting back into the game... again... for good this time hopefully, lol. But I'm wanting to shed my weaboo past, and use the name Archangel. This name isn't already taken by any like high profile players or anything is it? Wouldn't want anyone to think I was trying to impersonate anybody or steal someones name.

Trouble Shooting / Help compiling r1q2 from source.« on: October 22, 2008, 09:02:37 AM »
Hellos everyone, I'm thinking about starting playing again.
I just need some help with compiling r1q2 here. The game binary and the ref_gl compile just fine, but I can't get the game library to compile, I get this error with it. Code: [Select] cc -fPIC -DGAME_DLL -DNDEBUG -DLINUX -O2 -fno-strict-aliasing -Wall -ffloat-store -pipe -g -MF .depends/g_ai.d -MMD -c -o g_ai.o ../../game/g_ai.c I think I have all the dependencies installed for compiling this, am I missing something? Using Linux Mint 5 Elyssa XFCE Edition. 4

Trouble Shooting / Need to confirm if my music is autoplaying on my MySpace profile...« on: November 25, 2007, 10:12:33 PM »
It works just fine for me, but I've been told by three other people so far that it doesn't autostart.
So if you could be so kind to tell me if it does autoplay for you, and what browser your using I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise it's kinda pointless to put a song on there if no one can hear it You will need flash installed for this, and you can't actually see the player since I have it hidden , but it should automatically start playing. http://www.myspace.com/solosenshi 6

If it's possible, I think it would be pretty cool, BBCode annoys me and there's some things you just can't do with it

Trouble Shooting / Protocol 35 version mismatch 1904?« on: October 29, 2007, 07:43:38 PM »
Was just trying to connect to Vanilla and got this error flooding my console,
Code: [Select] The Torture Chambers I tried connecting to mutant and it worked, then tried to goto vanilla from there, but the error just started flooding again. What is causing this, and how do I correct it? I'm using Quetoo. Edit: Found a solution here, http://tastyspleen.net/quake/forums/index.php?topic=7384.msg78689#msg78689 10
Trouble Shooting / Installing Q2 in Linux? (got it installed now need Quetoo help)« on: August 09, 2007, 09:50:43 PM »
So, I'm using Kubuntu and would like to install Q2.
In the past I have just used the Icculus installer with my retail Q2 CD. Well, now I don't have that CD, I just have the DVD that came with Q4 with Q2 plus the Reckoning and Ground Zero on it, and this won't work with that installer. So, I'm wondering exactly how I should go about this. Thanks ^_^ 11

Came across this a few days ago,
http://mdn.mainichi-msn.co.jp/national/news/20060918p2a00m0na002000c.html Real interesting, I'd love to give one those a try, too bad it's only in Japan though Though I do enjoy experimenting with recipes from this site, http://mattfischer.com/ramen/ Maybe I'll find a recipe for noodle buns on there someday 15
/dev/random / Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion« on: March 31, 2006, 11:39:21 AM »
Ok so who's playing this?
I really like it, it has good graphics, story and gameplay. Been playing for a few days now, I'm already level 9 and closed a couple Oblivion gates. My only complaint is the map and journal system, you have to access them both through your menu and the map can't be resized. But that doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the game. Anyway, here's a sunset behind the Imperial City. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v418/sgm/Games/Oblivion-sunset.jpg |
