Skins, Models and Maps / Homeslice's Pak

Here is the final version of my pak, edited lots of things did some skinning too. I did not create or make any of these files, only edited/skinned/compiled, everything came from various paks. I included my personal autoexec.cfg, enjoy and pass on to other people, peace. :blunt:

Quake / Blood decals

Hey ive tried all the programs like q2evolved/quake2max/egl/ect... but I can't take any of the cool gorey blood out of any of them to put in a pak, do I HAVE to use one of these mods to have better blood in my q2? Any info is well appreciated.

Alright now this is fucking bullshit that every single fucking time I try to play sum jump the whole god damn server is full of newbies voting maps left and right all fucking day. Its fucking pointless to even try to play anymore. :ohlord:

We need a new system for changing maps, it really pisses me off when all of these people who just want to complete maps and dont give a shit about who is actually trying to get a good score want to change the fucking map every chance they get too. Any suggestions?  :frustration:

Yeah i get this sometimes and i wont be able to join the server until the map is changed, is there a way ot fix it?

Trouble Shooting / Attention required: signal timing is out of range

I know that this is a random question not really about quake but im going to try, so if I start my computer up without my monitor turned on before I start it turns to a black screen that says "attention required: signal timing is out of range", does anyone know how to fix this?

Skins, Models and Maps / using quark for editing a skin, need help

Hi, im kind of new to quark but i know all of the basics. im trying to change skins but its just not showing up when i start quake.  Im trying to change the blaster with some different colors, i figure that i only have to edit the tris.md2 file. But when i start up quake its nothing and there is no gun. Am i doing something wrong, do i need a different program for this? Please help.

Ok so usually when i play jump i only get about 60 fps all of the time no matter what, then some guy told me to type gl_swapinterval 0 and i would have normal fps and it worked. So whenever i start playing i type it and my fps is fine, all of a sudden i can only get up to 40 fps now everytime i play, even when i type gl_swapinterval 0. Any suggestions please?

does anyone know how to change the spawn point in quark? for example ill spawn a gun and i want it to spawn somewhere else and i cant find out how to, it always spawns in the middle of the map, can anyone help?

Discussion / 2 jump servers?

Lately the jump server has been getting full and I think it would be nice to have 2 jump servers. I also have an idea that one jump server would have all of the big/long maps on it with more time and the other server would have all of the short maps with normal time, about 20 min. Mabye some of you have some ideas for different qualitys that could be in each server?
