1v1 and TDM Demos / a few from last night

hello! these are a few games i played last night. the first one is with masta420 and the other two are against bam. there's another that i played against naymlis, but forgot to stop it, so it also recorded, i think, a 2v1 against him, another 1v1 against him, and then finally a 4v1 against him. it's pretty long, so if anyone involved (or anyone in general, really) in that taking down of beast last night would like to see the demo of our epic triumph (ahahaha sorry, i'm loaded right now) then i'll be more than glad to put it up. but prepared to sit through a few extra matches first. (:

p.s. ignore the random spinning and retarded jerking of my mouse, i wasn't being cocky, my mouse just does that sometimes :\

Trouble Shooting / i need help with my mouse!

hi! okay, so i'm having a little mouse trouble. it's an optical mouse and i'm sorry, but i don't know the exact type or model of it, though it does say 'ibm' where i place my palm, if that helps, which i doubt. anyway, whenever i play, my mouse tends to randomly, for lack of the technical term, freak-out. it'll either spin me around or send my crosshair shooting up towards the upper right or left corners of the screen. this happens every time i play. this has never happened to me before when i used to play with my with three-button logitech mouse that used a ball instead of a laser. i know that this problem has probably already been discussed, so i'd like to apologize in advance for being lazy and not looking further than page two of this forum. buuuut any help at all is very much appreciated! thanks!

Hi, everyone! (: As stated in the topic, this is just a friendly match between The Crazed (Who I haven't seen or played in forever!) and myself.  Last night (reeeally early this morning) was the first time we've played together in a while, so I thought I'd record the special occasion. This is in no way me saying that I "own" Crazed. I'm actually waiting for Reffers (Reflex) and Addie (Adam) to start playing again, too, so I can record demos with them as well. I record demos more so to watch, enjoy and laugh at later on than as proof of me beating someone. Sometimes I even record demos for the hilarious conversations that go on. (:

General Ownage / i can understand...

that the way i play can be frustrating because i tend to "run" and "hide" a lot and i'm sorry, but it's just the way i play.  i'd like to think that the way i play is strategic, but apparently it's just boring and again, i'm sorry. i felt the need to post this because i find that, especially with the better players, it's hard to get through a game without having trash talk thrown my way. i would like to save whoever i play in the future the effort and say that i'm not good and i've never said that i was. and please, don't feel obligated to say that i am because i'd rather not start a long debate, most likely consisting of a bunch of shit talk, on whether i am. i'm a female player (believe it or not), and i've heard enough shit talk to last me a life time, trust me. this post is in no way wanting your sympathy, but i guess just more so a warning: don't play me if you're into the whole fast paced type of game playing because i like to take my time to think about what i'm going to do before i do it.

win or lose, i have nothing to prove to anyone.

They're really nothing compared to the rest of the demos here, but I had a lot of fun while playing these games and I thought I'd share. A couple of them are kind of ridiculous, I know, but hopefully still entertaining, yeah?

This was a very fun game that I played against PyR3X, recorded a while ago, that I recently found and thought was a good watch. This will probably be the closest I'll ever get to beating him.

Uhm...what to say about this one...it was really funny every time I fragged him, because he always had something to say about it. Again, nothing very exciting in this demo (or any of my demos for that matter), but I just thought I'd share it anyway to, maybe, amuse the very few of you that download my demos, lol. =)

Quake / Help?

Hi, everyone! I'm Vicki. I'm quite new to the Tasty Spleen forums (I just registered, in fact), but I'd say I'm somewhat of a regular on the Tasty Spleen Tourney Servers, 1-4. Anyway, I kind of have a problem: None of the Tasty Spleen servers show up for me anymore, nor can I just type "connect [address]", and manually connect. I think I might know what this has to do with, though; I was on both Tasty Spleen's Tourney and Tourney2 servers, testing out new team binds that I made with Q2Text14, and when i pressed on the keys I had binded my team messages that, again, I had created with Q2Text14, it said something along the lines of "<i>vicki vicious: dropped</i> ... (something, something) <i>attempted command exploit</i>". I have no idea what it meant, but when I refreshed my server list, none of the Tasty Spleen servers appeared, and haven't since before I attempted to test my team binds. At first, I even thought that I had somehow singlehandedly crashed all of the servers, and I hope that wasn't and still isn't the case. I really hope I didn't damage any of the servers in any way, and I'm very, very sorry if I did. I would like to also say that I was not trying to cheat in any way, I swear. I have no idea what I did, and hope that the Tasty Spleen servers aren't down because of me, and that I'm not banned because I spend most of my time on those servers!

So, please, if anyone can help me, I'd be really, really appreciative.
