Quake / Hello Quake 2 Community!

Hello Quake2 Community!   :beer:

Just wanted to say hi to all.  :welcome:

A big thanks goes out to Rail Wolf, the Admin, who helped get the Mootown Chaos Revived server back up and running.  :bravo:

We play Q2 Chaos on the Mootown Chaos Revived server, every weekend on Sat. & Sun. @ 12:00 PM PST -CA Time.

Sharing a screenshot, one of many maps, TwelveDeadCows{Moo} is the Author of.  Recently, he's back in action making maps again for the Quake2 Chaos Mod!  :bananaw00t:

More News
SlingBlade[TnT]

We had some bad/sad news recently...to report about SlingBlade[TnT], a Q2 Chaos player.
We have a small Quake2 Chaos following but he was one of our pals plus an Ace Chaos player.
Don't know if any of you know him but thought I'd share in the Quake2 Community anyway.
We got the news from his brother Hawk[TnT] "My brother has had a stroke.  His right side has no movement and has a vision issue.
He is currently in a rehab and maybe months before we will be able to tell if function will improve"
-- SlingBlade[TnT] is in our thoughts and prayers.

Enlightening...you to some of the perks of Quake II Chaos:
--We have Custom maps, turrets, vortexes, quad damage, invisibility, anti-gravity belt, explosive arrows, bastard sword, maniacal proxy mines launcher, Buzzsaw, chainsaw, Kamikaze, 4 different power-ups, jetpacks, teleport and more!

Quake / Q2 Chaos Mod link

Hi Quakers! ;)

For those of you who want a change from the normal Q2 game play, give the mod Chaos a try. To make it easy for you, I left a link to get the necessary downloads, etc. to be fully equipped with the added features this mod provides.

We usually have Q2 Chaos scheduled for Saturday's or Sundays @ 5:30 pm PST weekly. You can check either day if you're interested. The server is on the west coast in (Calif.).

Place: Mootown Chaos Revived (New) IP # 172.251.202.99 (This week Sat. May 7th, Chaos is scheduled for 5:30pm PST.)

It's a fun mod and we've been playing it for over 5 1/2 yrs now, since we brought it back.  We love to have you join us for some good old fashion Chaotic fun!     :)

Quake / quadz

Hello fellow Quakers!

--I want to bring recognition and to honor quadz from Tasty Spleen. :bravo:

Quadz is a kind, giving, generous man, who helped me out with an on going Q2Admin's kicking bug, we've had for years on Mootown Chaos Revived server.   He graciously gave of his time to debug the "Q2Admin's kicking bug", and now my server's kicking issue has improved immensely. We have an occasional kick here and there but nothing like before.

I will be forever grateful to quadz!  Quadz's the best!  :heart:
