Quake / Re: Question about ping

there is, however quake2 coop sucks, its way too easy as it is for one player

you just need a coop server, but quake2 coop is buggy and crashes afaik

Oh. I've done it over LAN and it isn't buggy like that, from what I can tell...

Stupid internet stuffs ruining my co-op-ness fun.

And when I played over LAN, I died constantly, even on medium. Though that was mainly due to my 14 yeard old sister having a super shotgun and not knowing how to avoid shooting me....

Well, it's definitely frustrating, and my kills are....terrible, but it's kind of playable.

Um, is there anywhere I can play online Co-op? :erhmmm:

Damn it. >_<

I have at least 200-250 ping at all times.

I'm guessing that playing at that ping is basically pointless?

*Marks Quake 2 off of list of games online.*

*Checks "playable" list*

+Internet Hearts

*Checks "Unplayable" list*

:mrdead: Well, too large to list.

I guess it's OFFline games from now on.

This has likely been asked before, but I'm too lazy to actually LOOK for other topics on the same subject.

Anyways....What is an acceptable ping in a game?
I have...a less than perfect internet connection.
