i think you just live for the attention you percive it gives you. its a quake 2 forum/ irc  with how many people?!   Just like this thread you started.  Sure whats that about? Tourneys might die down but thats a given. Not too many people are going to play tourneys all the time.
The tourneys are just a small part.
Your plan .. please you sound like someone thats really really trying here. some ati cards depending on which one your using have a monitor/video refresh fix
kinda like how in win2k nvidia cards were limited to 60hrz on the monitor refresh at full screen

if you cannot get out at all look towards your cable/dsl router
you might have that application blocked in there or the ports killed.
or the settings on your firewall too high on it.

which one do you have?
model?

you might have to create pinholes or port fwd to allow packets to pass through on certain ports

i dunno i think if you guys want to host or share demos you should do that amongst yourself
there are alot of free hosting services and most of you guys are on broadband. DCC amongst yourselfes in irc


having an area where everyone can upload files to can be a good thing but could also be a bad thing

inivting malicious code from players thta have ill feelings towards ts/admins  or having mp3s dumped out there that ts does not need to be associated as being the place to get that newest ripped album...yadda yadda
plus the extra load it might put on the services

Ha no that gif was acutally made from Oneshot when he was under investigation for using wall hacks
and sure enough you can see what i was able to pull .
basically you just shove alot of screenshots to them and put them all in sequence made a gif out of it for fun
the other stuff was just for that little gimppy kid fregger
