Just curious im using the latest Quark how do i create a jump pad when using the func_push and when i inialize the game i get two errors

1. when i apply no numbers or origins i get : error_null

2 when i apply the speed and everything i get error_bad number

what do i have to do to create a jump pad im converting alot of quake 4 maps for quake 2 and i i would like them to be exactly the same instead of implementing stairs and such or the forsakinly slow elevator which btw i havent even tried so i wouldnt know how that would turn out

tbh i wasnt complaining about anything i simply asked a question why is it taking so long... and tbh i do know how long it takes to create and munipulate code and this sparks another question for the great Dolan why would id decide to create this code themselves when latily they strive on making things like this 3rd party :) just in the way of the whole stats thing theclg.com did if for years and with a bigger base of players then geez all of the quake community know. and tastyspleen here has its own stats but its a lil less then the clq they way i see it is they are simply taking to long

Do you have any idea what EA's headcount is versus id's?  Also, id only allocated a few resources to QuakeLive.  Most of their employees are working on other (revenue generating) titles.  How do you feel entitled to complain about a free game, exactly?

And btw, it's "id", not "ID."  Kind of like "Ed", not "eye dee".

It doesnt matter its still an already published game there even taking the existing maps there for they dont need alot of attention in that field they are changing some things but basic structure is already there so... there is no excuse to why it has takin them almost 2 years to release this game and JC has already admitted its taking WAY longer then expected

you know what i dont understand is how can a Developer like EA release a COD game YEARLY and it takes ID 2 years to recreate a 9 year old game in the form of a browser it just doesnt make sense to me

Monsoon By Lukin [1.1] Q4 Converted by Bull3t -THats me and right now i have it for the xatrix mod i will be removing the xatrix weapons tho another thing i couldnt figure out the jump pad so i installed some stairs kinda offsets the map from its original but... least we have it now!!! its really is a great map

Quake2 Beserker not worth the 400mb download and the 200mb worth of updates! thanks anyway fellas and im still waiting on those quake 3 sound pak is there anyway of creating a sound that identifies when u hit the opponent like in quake 3 the beep?
