I do have to ask though, is there a reason that never did a port/rip of the 10th N64 map, Overflow?

Skins, Models and Maps / Re: N64 Quake II multiplayer maps by Rota« on: June 11, 2014, 11:05:56 AM »I did post them all here as well. I was supper spammy with those links everytime I released a map. Well I wasn't able to find anything that contained all the links in a single post. Also I made this thread quite literally years before you ever made your map ports/conversions, so I felt it was appropriate to update this thread accordingly since my original idea had since been fulfilled. 3

Super apologies for the massive grave dig, but I've just discovered that a few years ago, but still a few years after making this thread, tastyspleen member "peewee_RotA" has recreated the N64 Quake II multiplayer maps. However, he seems to have only posted them on a different forum, so I hope he doesn't take offense to me linking his downloads here.
While I'm at it, I wouldn't assume there'd be a way to play on these maps on tastyspleen multiplayer, correct? Skins, Models and Maps / Re: Kind of surprised nobody's ripped the N64 multiplayer maps...« on: October 13, 2007, 06:55:09 PM »The rest wouldn't really work well on hte PC version. Remember that Q2 64 deathmatch did not have water, ducking, or double jumps but it did have an invisibility. Also the BFG functioned quite differently (with a really cool lightning effect) and all the other weapons were slowed down to balance them. Lastly it was limited to 4 players.Well, it doesn't have to be the exact same. The weapons and ammo and stuff could be placed in the same spot, but who cares if the map is over crowded?! 5

Trouble Shooting / WHAT?! R1Q2 set to Default OpenGL not allowed? Says unknown version of vid_ref« on: March 07, 2007, 01:02:33 PM »
Ok, what the crap? For R1Q2, if you have the video mode set to "Defaut OpenGL" (instead of R1GL), the tastyspleen servers won't allow the anticheat! D: Now "Default OpenGL" works fine for the standard Quake2.exe (or nocheat.exe), but it's only in R1Q2. You can even try it out yourself
The problem is that there are some PCs that I play on that have crappy video cards, and have some graphical errors in the R1GL video mode, so I have to use the standard Default OpenGL. My guess is that you guys never even thought that anyone would be using the Default OpenGL instead of the R1GL in R1Q2 There's a screenshot in the attachment. 9
Skins, Models and Maps / Yoshi skin I've been using for a while« on: October 15, 2006, 03:10:14 PM »
This is a skin I found somewhere on the intarweb about half a year ago, but I can't find it. >_>
So I figured I'd share it to get it out there again. According to the included .TXT... Quote Author: Chris Shelton Now I don't know if I'm actually allowed to share skins made by others, but I'm taking a chance <_<; And it's kinda a pity that it's not on the server, nobody can see it then... BUT ANYWAY! Here's the download. PS: I'm half new. I've been playing on the servers under the name "N. Maniac 64" for several months now, but I've just finally joined the forums here. (but I've been on the site before.) PPS: .7z isn't a supported file type for uploading? D: EDIT: Removed the download link, see Panjoo's post below for an updated version.
