Oh man, i just bought myself a new laptop, it has VISTA on it. I can't play Quake2 anymore

. WTF, is there any patch or something ? Or do i have to find a new XP ??? bull***T, i don't even have driver CD's with my laptop, everything is packed in this operating system, it's awfull. Any suggestions ?

I liked this modification a lot when i first came to TS !!! It added more fun.
But anyways, here's a solution for you console:
Take a regular DM1(without quad) map and rename it to DM0 or anything you like, so basically replace DM1(w/ quad) with DM0(without quad) on servers that you are not feeling like having quad on. How's that !?

So now you can't even vote for Match1 !? Hmmmm.... why !?

Seriously, i'm sure that noone knows in here about "playgound.ru" it's a russian Q2 server, i would never left it, but high ping made me. Here are some things that their DM has and TS doesnt':
1) When you are viewing statistics during the game it's just listed, NO pictures. It's not distracting you from the game.
2) They have death count. What good is that you might be wondering, here's an answer to that: When 2 players have the same amount of frangs, who is on the top !? the one who has less deathes.
3) Right next to the frag count, there's a counter that defines by how many frags are you off from the leader. I concider it usefull.
4) Voting menu is a lot better, meaning: players actualy vote, and decision is made by the persantage of "yes" and "no", not because some one typed in "mymap". You can vote for any available map for DM.
5) Map selection is better, maps ARE BETTER. For DM offcourse. They are not huge and they are very exciting.
Also they have a team play, no, not CTF. Just team play. It's awsome.
6) You can vote by pressing a "tab" button, it's added to that menu. So you don't have to know commands, you can vote through a menu.

It really is a lot better that way, you not getting sick 'cause of the same 5 maps. Yeah yeah, i've been told goto vanilla. But, maps are 2 huge on that server, on railz you have no weapon selection, every server has it's minuses. I'm a DM & TP fan.
If maybe you wanna take a second of your time and actualy see it w/ your own eyes, here is the address of DM:

Maybe something will be added to TS. Seriously, Console, why can't you make a voting topic for DM people !? Give people a chance to say if they still wanna play on the same maps, or they want an upgrade. There are lot's of things that can be updated, but it looks like it's just getting worse. From 40 frags to 30, than back, now there is no "Match1". What next !? player limit 8 !? no chat during the game !?
The only thing that keeps this server alive is that it's the only server that people know about $:-\$ . I know people who are looking for different servers, i know people who were saying "yes" to "It sux". I already know what you are gonna say most probably, but it def. worth a try.

Before i couldn't even play on railz, i was loosing internet connection all the time on railz, now i just have a larger latency $:-\$

Man, DM really has to be updated (maps), maybe you can atleast add some maps in the voting menu !? I'm starting to loose interest to this game 'cause of it

. These few maps over and over again, that sux. And other servers are not cool, i mean railz is cool, but my ping is higher at railz and it's not as fun as DM. Is it possible to review this stuff ?

Oh, ye ,i almost forgot, there is a cheater on death match running around

, some times i saw strange rail shots. By saing strange i mean i couldn't see who da heck was killing me (wich is weard). Then on The Edge i finaly understood the hole deal. In rail room ,hyperblaster bullets were shooting out of air, that "beatch" is using some sort of invisibility
