nice try.  now seeing how desperate alpha is at imposing anticheat and the new revelations that stirred up in these post i will NEVER use anticheat. no matter what you say. if you knew why and how alpha got this bs on me you would understand my concerns. you dont have the full story. its no point in posting what and why cuz he will probably just deny. im not crazy i dont go around saving logs and copying posts all day long because of ppl like alpha. so its no use. it seems no matter what, a/c forced wont be removed. seems like you guys are playing games. with the guinea experiment and all that. 1st its because im suspected of cheating yet on the other hand you all say i play bad. for all i know alpha can have several accounts here. eh haunted? who are you? you been lurking on the sidelines all this time, complaining im ignoring you, you got my attention now. whats your beef with me? who are you in the game?  you want stupid screenshots and my paks, are you really that thick? then you're gonna say i could of took those shots from anywhere. and knowing alpha he might just grab em and run to
IDsoftware and rat me out for copyright infringement. go play with yourself. and even if it was proof it's already been said it wasnt coming off. even after admitting it was put on me as part of an experiment. so why would i bother? this is the last time you hear from me. this charade smells to high heaven. im still gonna play from time to time cuz  the adults here know that its quite easy to go around. connecting without a/c is still a choice. you like playing and sticking around with alpha have it. it doesnt do you any good. one day you guys will find out the way i did. you can come here and type an apology. i dont cheat. im a guinea pig.  so enuff of the bs. . who's the fool? the fool or the one that follows?

 so you see? this guy was working to bypass a/c. alpha says he only got part of the work. the amount of effort alpha put in to impose anticheat on me and those few lines really gives me the creeps.
 limit the damage.

thanks alot Quadz, i was having bad feelings about you and tastyspleen in general and i was about to let all of you know what i really felt. there are other servers out there.  you proven to me that tastyspleen are not hypocrites and are not using double standards. i learned alot bout myself and q2 in the process. you have been straightforward with me and in return i will be straightforward with you. but this will badly impact a/c reputation, not my fault i was dragged into this the wrong way, but considering who's tampering with anticheat at the moment i can assure you it's coming off my pc ASAP. i will remove it and i wont use it. i will reboot and keep playing just like before. but i will be nice and shut up. when everybody is forced A/c then maybe i will comply. i dont have any hard feelings against you. i'm convinced you're a great dude. i wish we had met under better circumstances. but on my side you are up there in my prayers. so keep up the good work.

foc , it would be fun you if we knew specifically who you're talking about. for the record im not the one who ran to quadz with half a log as proof to get ac forced on someone or to cry about someone. im getting ac cuz im (loudmouth)
 ignoring alpha's performance and consider him a cheat is something ive been doing since a long time ago. i never made a complaint bout that guy to admin. i keep it in the game. the reason why i bother now is because alpha managed to get a FAULTY ac imposed on me just for being loudmouth. if i was admin i would wait to get 2-3 complaints before doing anything. the reasons why ac is forced on me are as shady as alpha's gameplay. you want me not to bother about the game, because its just a game well then why does admin bother to put ac on a player for no good reason? the way i see it with alpha being the (quake inspector) the wolf is in charge of the chickens.  further more in this post

 he's actually saying anticheat is useless. nobody thinks im cheating, im just being punished for being loudmouth. the truth will never change. when you change your name and bulldoze the server you can expect some crying and i know im not the only one.

 Alpha has admitted looking for hacks, handed over to quadz, how do we know he hasent made a copy of those hacks before sending them to quadz? oh its alpha, we can trust alpha. how do we know he didnt keep the full ac hack and ship only part of it to quadz? force ac on alpha, oh wait he has hacks that can bypass ac. yikes!

aright so yes indeed the problem seems to be fixed. i did not have to redownload. so cool. the q3pak doesnt have any models with it.  and here's the deal, im gonna put all the stuff i have available to all but not because ALPHA requests it, i am not giving them to you alpha, you can use them if you want but im not putting them here cuz u ask. how should i do that? bundle that in a zip file or what? you can keep the anticheat on its fine. its just not implemented for the right reasons. i miss you in the games, come back!

i tried 5-6 games with the q2pro provided by anticheat and it crashed or froze evrytime. my regular q2pro doesnt work at all with anticheat. i switched to r1q2 and its better it doesnt crash. but there's still a considerable drop in performance.with regular q2pro without ac in console i type timerefresh i get around 3200fps, with  ac it drops to 1400-1800. i havent tried r1q2 without ac, but with ac i get around 1200. for some ppl it might not be important but i have an old computer and its nice to get evrything i can out of it. these conversations are starting to bore me, would be fun to stick to the real cause of all this. every time i ask how ac will help stop the reasons why it's been imposed you divert the subject, bring up flaky evidence (discovered after) a bfg in-hand model for the cyborg player. i actually have hundreds of modified files, all my textures are black n blue marble i put a mudflap girl instead of of regular q2 ornaments and i use a q3 pak, sometimes i use an arcade pak that i made. . all my models are stock that i painted yellow using psp many years ago.none of that is considered cheating and thats why ac doesnt pick them up. customizing q2 is part of the fun. i have no idea why it says a bfg in-hand model for the cyborg player. ive been playing with these settings for years
and im a way better player when it's stock. the truth here is that alfa doesnt even think im cheating he's doing that to get back at me. having ac doesnt stop (mouthy Diable douche) and doest stop my (poor punctuation) does nothing to prevent me from using my custom textures,models or sounds. (which last time i checked were not cheats) just admit you're putting ac on me cause you dont like me and i deserve it for being mouthy and using bad punctuation. then i'll move on. you cant just wiggle away. tell the truth.
 hey my punctuation is off, why dont you disable my flash player?

ok so i told people what to they can find if they search for cheats. timeframe is irrelevant, i havent been playing so well and protesting a faulty anticheat that has been imposed on me for no good reason. now tell me and everybody here how forcing anticheat on me solves the problem? my not playing so good might be due to the fact that i had to switch to r1q2? u try it. by the way you might be a better player if you dropped anticheat. maybe thats why you too dont perform so well at times. stop waisting ppl's time. you are no where giving a good explanation. and what files show up? i checked and nothing shows up. stop making stuff up.

aright, i wasn't going to bother about this because the whole thing
seems kind of unreal. but since many of you
 have bothered to express your opinion i will write the following just
 for you guys. i dont care to use anticheat but there is
a drop in performance, feels grainy. also the game freezes
between maps and when i switch servers (goto). i have ctrl+del to get out.
 i thank you all for your input on this , your comments are dead-on.
i will tell you why this happened, and why i was (looking for cheats)
so yea i looked for cheats on google and found some. i dont
remember all the details because that was years ago.
 ( recently i was talking to deapool about those hacks,
 alpha was in spectator mode listening)
i told him i found, a aimbot, bunnyhop, speedhack,wallhack.
 everybody can find them.the joke is that it worked only with q2ace..
 the idea why i wanted those hacks was to try them for myself.on my
own server.(thats the part alpha leaves out)
to see if actually some of the cheats i suspect some players
of using are real. now, since i am not a computer geek, i never got
 them to work. and couldnt find or get q2ace to work.so good old alfa
joins the conversation and asked me why i knew about q2ace. i replied
 (i was looking 4cheats) he took that part and ran to admin with it.
 it's very rare that i heard a player say i cheat in the 17years
ive been playing this game. for heaven's sake, im not even in top ten players.
 many players are also way better than me yet for alpha they go under
the radar cuz he has no real beef with them. the prob here is not
about me cheating, its about alpha getting back at me because i
reckonize is 200+ping and give him all i got. and he wont get much
 respect from me by calling everybody FAGS when he wins a map. if
im lucky and i win, he typically leaves before the map is over.
many of you are respectable players and i had tons of great games
with you all. the almighty is my witness, i never cheated. to
 me its also a place where we can release steam, speak our mind,
and act retarded. its one of the few places we have where we can
 be free. lets keep it that way. its a game, at the end of the day
 if im driving down the road and i see a q2 player with a flat
tire i'll be the first one to help.
 yes i think some players may have an unfair advantage sometimes,
 but to the point of taking it to admin? seriously...
now im stuck with this anticheat that doesnt work well with
q2pro and i would like admin (quadz) to remove it please.with those measures
 you are also forcing 2 other casual players that play from my ip to use anticheat
being my kid and my gf. its gonna be all screwed up when they turn that on.
 come check my game and see for yourself. now i have to use r1q2 and it it doesnt
 really stop me from talking about cheats.if there's stuff i cant say it would
be better you just tell me or use some kind of text filter on the server.
 but i hope most ppl that play q2 with me like it just the way it is. it's
a great server,for great players and great games.thank you so much
for keeping q2 alive, my kid roams on other mods and im impressed
with the work you guys put in. i have a map and a pak i would like to
 make available. it would be nice if this little incident could turn into
something positive. i hope we have many more years. its the best game out
there because we play it. thanks.
