yikes...
so, could we get the the gamex86.dll from ma3x and just transfer it over? would keep everything on the server, because its not changing any of the server configs like maplist or whatnot, right? 4
Discussion / Maplist cap« on: January 03, 2011, 06:03:09 PM »

Trouble Shooting / Re: mouse lag« on: December 19, 2010, 02:29:42 AM »
i noticed mouse lag as well for a long time, when moving my mouse slowly. then i figured out the wonders of m_look and m_directinput
they cancel out the effects of that silly windows mouse acceleration crap, which makes your mouse move faster than your hand, the faster you move your hand (wrap your noggin around that). might fix it, if you arent using those already. oh! and vid_optimalrefresh. (im probably tarded, and just repeating crap everyone knows) 8

ignore the really high ones in mine, just problems with being too far from my dsl tree. i drop about 20ms on average with new ip, which is wonderful. also drop 7 hops in trace.

Discussion / Re: bind keys for jumps« on: December 03, 2010, 12:32:41 PM »
i find the less extra buttons i have, the easier it is. having a standing dj alias screwed my life up, so now i just do them manually. jump -> forward + jump. have to be fast, but it works. i do stuff like bind mwheelup/down to change cl_maxfps, same with mouse3/4/5. bind a button to kill, and one to store. dunno, you dont need anything fancy for jump.
