Most 'Quakers' prefer the series because of its quick, strategy and arena based action. All the quick decisions and things you need to keep track of (item timings, enemy positioning, weapon choices, etc.) make the game extremely versatile and unique. Many different and new situations are constantly happening.
All this along with having advanced movement ( something that is very lacking in most if not all modern 'realistic' games ) creates a really great game with many layers of gameplay, allowing it to constantly grow and evolve.
These are my thoughts, anyone have any others?
