Trouble Shooting / Re: No crosshair running r1gl on r1q2
« on: August 08, 2009, 09:52:32 AM »
Alright, I downloaded a file that contained all the original cross hairs, but when I ran r1q2 with r1gl, no cross hair still showed up.  I even typed the \crosshair command in the console for 1-3 and still no luck; that changed however when I decided to give \crosshair 4 a shot because there really wasn't anything for me to lose, and sure enough a cross hair came up!!!!!!!  Since \crosshair 4 worked I thought 'heck, why not try 5, 6, 7, etc.?', so I did and I found out that it goes all the way up to 13.  A lot of the cross hairs look like some of the ones from Q3A, but not all of them - if I'm correct.  Anyway, I'm glad I got that problem fixed, and thanks for the help Reflex - I appreciate it  ;D.  Just one more simple question:

Is there a way to make the cross hairs look smaller?

Trouble Shooting / No crosshair running r1gl on r1q2

Hi everybody, I'm fairly new to the scene here being that I haven't played Q2 online in a looooooooong time, but I'm very excited to see that people still play this game - that's freaking awesome  ;D.   Anyway, I installed r1q2 a while back but always had this problem with not having a crosshair when using the r1gl thing; I would go to the menu in-game to make the crosshair a cross, dot, and angle, but it would never show up.  Also, earlier today I tried to exec some cfg's in r1q2 with r1gl, but each time it would say 'couldn't exec [whatever config]'.  If anybody can help with this, that would be freaking sweet!!!

btw, I don't know if this would help anybody in figuring out what's wrong with my r1gl thing, but I do have the source code installed in my system (for no particular reason) and I have kmquake2 stuff installed as well.
