First off what is Gumbys Server running? I get this asked daily.
The server runs a very old mod called competition weapons. The mod is basically server side.
There is however one configuration file if you wish to make use of the slow gay grapple.
You would need to download the mod in order for this to work. You can download it from my test website at http://raz0rsedge.com/comp.zip
This is the entire client mod for competition weapons and will have the needed autoexec.cfg file with commands for grapple. Make sure the autoexec.cfg file is placed under quake2/weapons folder. Obviously if you already have an autoexec.cfg file you would just copy the needed entries into it.
Also this mod does not have spectator mode currently. I'm not sure why the developer failed to leave this out and there is no source files to fix it. So even wallfly can be killed once. LOL
I am working on installing an addon called gamecam which will give you spectator and chase cam, but so far I am having issues with it. I will keep you updated on my progress.
Also you can vote maps. Simply type this in console: VOTE MAP Q2DM1 as an example. In order to approve the vote you will need to type VOTE YES or VOTE NO. You cannot just type the word yes or no, you must have the word vote in it.
Also there is decoys in the game that can be fun. Simply BIND whateverkey DECOY.
