okay i'm going to see what this static ip does...I have 30 days free trial if i'm not happy i cancel at no cost then i will go back to comcast

yeah my connection is working just slower than comcast and i always have like 3 hops that times out and my ping is 20-25 ms higher but like i sadi the tier2 tech from at&t told me i have to get the server to lock in my static ip and it will then create a more direct and prioritised route so thats why I came on here to ask about

awe that is so sweet of you to help a friend out now back to what was on the table....you said me and that would be??????? seriously do I need to have the server lock in the ip for a more direct path or something? will I have to pay them a lil a month? I was told by support that I have to have the server or data center lock in the ip so as it gets priority routed????????????

lol my bending rail hacs....yeah that was a good 1.....................i'm getting a static ip on the 6th of september just wanted to know if anthing from the servers end needs to be locked in asfar as a more direct path to the server and if so who do I need to contact quadz or networklayer

not sure if i need to contact quadz for locking in a static ip or if I need to contact the data center that tastyspleen is being hosted at can some 1 let me know what route i need to take.I dont come on the forums that much just like to play Q2 so if i can be contacted via e-mail great it is floridasharks@att.net

well ty GK,yeah i play at vanilla around 5:30am til about 8:am est and sorry for the troubles with my servers i have yet to figure it all out beings railwolf still has not giving me a cheat sheet on all the comands and things to do on how to run a server .....I'm not too pc savvy. I get on the pc to play q2 thats about it but would like to be able to run and opperate my own servers like a pro....beings wolf set up my server i think the question about the player slots should be asked to him???? wolf,e-mail me so we can talk about some things or call me @561-667-1520

Inhuman, I need u to contact me via e-mail. I was told u could set up a q2 server by drifter...I just rented 1 from theplanet.....
