Quake / Re: Quadz, the Loquaciously Multiloquent Member
« on: July 12, 2021, 11:52:10 AM »
My sincere condolences to his loved ones and family.

I knew quadz briefly and we exchanged some late night chats from time to time on some interesting topics, whether it be life in general, quake2, players etc. He's a very bright and talented, selfless individual who I wish I would've gotten to know better.  I'm truly sorry to hear about this. Best wishes for him and his family.

Hey guys, just got back a little while ago and seeing what's up? I heard ra2 kind of fell apart a little after I had taken off, this's made me sad. Anyhow, has anyone talked to Rick? I usually get info/updates from him but haven't talked to him in quite a while just curious where he is, anyone heard anything?

Anyways, when's the next tournament??

So it's now 2d sooint and kickro, looking to play Friday night (like originally planned) around 1030-11pm EST, 2d and I already kinda agreed on that hope kickro can make it, because I have to have a 2nd game played by Sunday which will be the day I'll play that one. I'll check here and irc when I get home tomorrow and try to pan some details out before I leave, got stuff planned which I'll have to cut short to come play later Friday night (so dedicated zomg).

p.s this is the last night to play this match, so better be there  :lolsign:

if this many people hated me, eventually it would get to me and i would snap.

With the exception of a few irate bozo's I think we're pretty well set up. You and I have 'repaired' it as of lately i would say, dont you co-agree ?  ;D

Wouldn't be the first time you've ever been wrong, would it?

haha  :busted:

sigh... you just dont get it do you? it never clicks does it?

as stated before: we knew you were recording us, plus it was only me and rick vs ex, so we were having fun.
Lets go over the facts:
Ventrilo is not cheating
You got mad and raged to the forums with this clip (objective completed)
You still think I cheat
It's a game, whats wrong with trying, you want to win don't you?
Comments like "single" and "enemy weak" are EQUALLY USEFUL as team_say binds, would you consider those cheating???

There, i think that was pretty good. Thanks for showing us how you lost and ran to the forums (again).
and actually, thanks. posting this reminded me of what a fun night that was. we were all playing having fun while you were cowering in the corner sitting on a vent with 2 other guys recording them (sweet life hamdon).

and yea, your post to 'get me' was a fail...total fail.  :busted:

there goes 2dum again trying the same dumb shit that didn't work before.

#1: Alpha is way better looking than 2dum's fat greasy ass with or without hair.

#2: All we have to do to mock 2dum is post pictures of him that aren't changed in any way.

hahaha  :bravo:..

Its funny, at first i thought it was just me and a few others who found 2d really annoying, immature, and dumb (recently adding horrific to look at)
then as time passed it seemed i found another person here, another person there, who felt the same way i did, now to have this unity of hate that is so widely displayed is awesome. That youtube video is great and definitely made me lol.
Honestly 2d, if this many people hated me, eventually it would get to me and i would snap. as funny as the video was, it was still kind of hard watching for 45 seconds because i wanted to pull my eyes out, his face is pretty ugly, not to mention FAT....
you know the whole stick a needle in my eye thing, after seeing your picture im seriously considering it.  :lolsign:

(ra2) W:ex: hops especially
(ra2) W:ex: he was caught w/ hax

please tell me when this was ex, id love to know.

**[eL]phil was the only one who had the decency to try to even things out by switching. **

another incorrect statement. I switched and was playing with phil for two maps (while  being 1st or 2nd, so i was definitely pulling my weight, also - quite even the teams were), and until a bunch of people left, even tho it was still like 6v6, then we ALL started playing on a team together. Teams were fine and we wanted to play together, and we did, even losing a fair amount. Just to get back into things.
Why does 2d and ex feel the need to bring up the stupidest shit?? Can anyone answer that for me? Ex acts like someone whos your friend but the moment i turn around, i have another knife in my back. I mean that was 99% of the problem tonight, it was like 7v7 and ex left blue and joined red making it 8v6, even tho vamp and jack were playing (we know they arent that great). bunch of racial implication towards a handful of players, phil to name one of them.
and btw 2d, just a real strong showing for 'mr. ambassador'.   :P :P

Trouble Shooting / q2 setup help (r1q2 crashing)
« on: November 07, 2013, 04:13:41 PM »
Hey,

My brother (tc) is finally looking to re-install and play q2 again. Just formatted his computer, got the latest drivers/etc for his hardware and I gave him my Q2 folder. When r1q2 crashed he tried downloading the latest version, with the same result.

Radeon 9500 Video Card
Windows XP Pro 32-Bit
OpenGL Version: 6.14.108545

It seems to be some incompatibility issue with his ATI drivers, the error log is in the following post due to it's length.

Already attempted:
- Ensured there are no stray .dll files associate with openGL/ati in the Q2 directory.
- Backing off ATI drivers one version, same issue in both cases.
- Changing the parameters of r1q2 to directory/r1q2.exe +set vid_ref r1gl.
- Has not installed/tried any other client (i.e. AprQ2)

We've been scouring the old R1CH forums and found a few threads that looked promising but can't see past the first page. He also started a thread on acmectf.com/forum here: http://www.acmectf.com/forum/index.php/topic,3907

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

h0ps

h0ps umadbro?  u lost to us while you were using vent snorting and crying to rick to help you hahaha

how can u have won every map when u voted map 26 and quit out of edge after u got raped, as shown in my picture.

the maps u did win, u won barely by +/- 5 kills, which can be attributed to your ventrilo organized  team play.

ur bunk son.

i told u i was eating u sack of trash, and when i came on the server we played teams, so try a new one.

by the way, just need to tell everyone that ex came in last place on EVERY SINGLE MAP.

G T F O ex

I wonder what it's like to fictitiously go through life creating lies anytime someone says something. How is it g2d? We can get the logs from quadz that proves I lead every map and stopped playing at the END of the map. Everytime you talk you get proved wrong by facts. For someone who "just wants to play and have fun" you sure talk a lot of crap and still cease to back it up ever. My demos don't lie and I WILL masturbate to them over and over again till it bleeds. Raped idiot.  Lets keep the magic going. *wink
