E-Machines are not the E-Machines of old. Gateway owns the name now.  They make good pc's with industry standard parts.  Very good pricing.  Nothing wrong with them at all.

Thats right, and its a Celeron processor too!Most people dont seem to like those but it works great for me.

didnt know they was owned by gateway now
thats not so bad

im not sure what there like now
but they were garbage back in the day :p i thought i was getting a deal since they were so cheap
back then i didnt know anything about computers. so i got suckered into buying 2 hehe

cant beat my 3ghz p4 ht and 1gb ram
geforce4 ti4600 (my video card is next on my list of upgrades)

wouldnt be cought dead buying brand name pc anymore
i build all mine now. never get what you want with brand nameds

the computer im using now -WAS- an HP
but iv basicly upgraded all the parts now hehe
only thing left is the sound card and cd/dvd/floppy and case
my sound card is crap heh

its a creative pci 128. but plays everything just fine
with the exception of a few things. which come out as static
sound cards are cheap tho, ill probably upgrade that next too
