im fine with it, you shouldnt blame me for your partners sensitivity, honestly, i can imagine being upset by someone yelling at you in your face ie bad customers, but someone talking smack over the internet about a video game? get real, but he cares alot about winning or losing, thats why it gets to him so much, my ability to intimidate eye into forfeiting a match only proves that even more, then again i had to have the skill to back it up, if eye was confident he could beat us im sure he would have went through with the match

anyway like i said im coo with giving you the opportunity crazed, i have to talk to dkarn about it but im sure he'll be cool with it, give us scheduled times

kobra explained to me that we advanced to the final

i wouldn't have wasted time posting it in our topic and on my site otherwise

at game time crazed wasn't around when we were
then later when everyone was and we were willing eye wasn't

practiced all day to be told 'not going to be a match'

so thats what im going with

well i guess youre right crazed, i just get so much satisfaction from it, just ruining someones day so easily, with just a few words, then again i am a poet so i do invest in the power of words, but at the same time people leave themselves so vulnerable, i was jus thinking about it today, the same stuff i say to people online i say to my sister all day, and she'll say shit back to me and we'll laugh at it, sad that some people just cant deal with that kind of stuff, oh well

you know what i just realized, there is so much shit talking in my life

i just got back from a tekken 5 meet, everybody is shit talking each other mad, and its hilarious, i hang out with my friends for a kickback, were jus gettin drunk makin fun of each other, and its funny as fuck, i come online and talk the same shit, and cool peeps are still coo with me, but then the pussys get their feelings hurt, honestly i dont think ive ever pissed off anyone i particularly like or has a very pleasing personality, for the most part everyone ive pissed off is pretty stale or boring, they're just "nice", an almost worthless and uninteresting quality, mean spirited humor makes me laugh, nice guys dont
should i really change?

i know what you mean, among fighting games if you cant talk shit you might as well not play

but q2 is a (somewhat) more polite community, with alot of older more mature people playing.. so that type of stuff usually isnt appreciated very much.. i personally agree, i think its a better game when everyone is friendly and having fun

Dude, I know about shit-talking. Maybe it has something to do with growing up in Southern California - of course there are other places as well, here it seems almost part of the culture from youth up - but all my friends shit talk and I do as well, but we're not doing it mean-spiritedly. We're making fun of each other and of course we laugh it off. Occasionally egos get into it and we get into arguments, usually the "shit-talking" doesn't start the argument, it's some opinion that someone disagrees with - but we're never cussing each other out (when we're serious) or physically violent. We just shout and argue our points.

At these moments - based on what I've seen from you in Q2 - you would start calling names, taunting them, make fun of them, try to humilliate them, heap scorn on their opinions, make them feel stupid, small, embarrassed. It's a lot harder to just "laugh it off" when you do that to people. I wonder what you and your friends actually say, or what you actually say to your sister - I bet it's not much different than what my friends and I say. It's way different saying it to friends than people you don't know. It's a lot easier to say online than in person too.

I know people who act this way when they're actually incorrect and don't understand the argument. Or people who actually know what the other person is talking about but would rather make them feel dumb and laugh at them because they have a hard time sensing you're not being serious - I got ADD-ed out friends like this. You've done that too, like when you accused Omega of spoofing Adam.

Banes, I know you're not gonna change man, but try to restrict your scorn to people who actually deserve it - a lot of the players who are better than you deserve it more than those who are worse. You've never been able to get under my skin (funhouse has).... although you've been close when you start criticizing my play, I try to take it with a grain of salt because you often have a good point. I've never left a server because of you saying anything to me, but I have because of you talking shit to other people. Isn't it just as lame that you get all worked up like this about a game as it is for them? Don't tell me you don't know your own ego isn't just as involved....

Tone it down and quit baiting and baiting and baiting, there are chinks in everyone's armor and I know there are things that make you feel uncomfortable and embarrassed too. No one's rubbing it in your face though. Even evil Bleach likes to play nice.
