Personally, I'm not sure that a 5 or 6 month period of banning was long enough since he did the switcheroo for the purpose of evading the ban, but I'm not an admin. 6 months sounds like a reasonable amount of time I guess.

Elppen, were you afraid that I'd start relentlessly berating you? Honestly, what else could I (or anyone else) say that hasn't been said already... other than I'm a little surprised it took you THAT long to own up to what we ALL saw with our eyeballs. I was on your case so much because you insisted on concretely denying that you were cheating. It was just fucking stupid, man. I have no problems with you coming back, so consider this an olive branch and a white flag. Please do yourself and everyone else a favor and DON'T cheat anymore. It should be easy for EVERYONE to see that a person who wishes to remain a regular around here will NOT get away with cheating on a regular basis.

With any luck, he's learned his lesson and we won't have to go through this bullshit with him ever again.

Hopefully he realizes that this is more of a chance than most have gotten for the same offence and that a few of the admins are really throwing him a bone by agreeing to tentatively lift his ban.

Really tho, there's a simple solution here that would allow you to go about your business after proving that you're legit:
