there are two different systems at work here, mutes for short binds, and chatban for long binds...
Maybe, since there are two systems at work, you could make it so that the 'mute system' uses its own window. Or is that what you meant by I'll try reining in the short-bind mute window a bit...?
Another thought. Is it possible to make the 'chatban system' also include the player names so that if Player01 is overly generous with his 's the chatban remembers it as Player01: Then Player01 isn't entirely muted and anyone else who's name isn't Player01 can still say "".
Its all in good fun as far as I'm concerned. I just hope the bind limiter won't take that away.
