LOX, that mod is the worst. all the nubs join because all weapons pretty much dont require any kind of aiming or general skill to use

they have a rail chaingun, that shoots at the speed of light
combine that with there "angel" system which blocks all projectiles
and you become unstoppable

the sad part is, when i used to play that mod back in the day
id totally own the server. if your such a nub that you cant even play that mod well
gaming is not your thing

yes. it's a powerful weapons mod.

But that doesnt mean it needs one that is even more powerful than every other combined, if a majority of players think it's not fun with that weapon included, because it can be exploited heavily to ruin the game for everyone else.

This gun is much like using any of the various overpowered BFG variations in LOX.
(many of which are banned on the only servers that run LOX for this exact reason)

It's NOT like running the quad. The quad, you actually have to time and get back to, and find a weapon and ammo to use while doing so, and aim.

indeed, i was going to say that the quad still requires SOME skill to use to its fullest

I consider "Trolling" to be the act of baiting people into a response that you want them to give, for whatever reason.

Kinda like IF I were to go onto an Ra2 Forum and call them all no-skilled hacks who can't be bothered to control items..

I would be trolling for a negative response that I knew I could get out of them by using the correct shiny lure and dragging it back and forth in front of them until they hit on it. (like a gamefish)

I'm sorry that I've acted quite irrational about the situation RailWolf, and I do admit that it was immature on my part. The point I'm trying to make is that the phaser isn't the most powerful weapon in the game, I mean I've seen people spam with the death ray and so on, and I wasn't complaining. We don't have to get all philosophical about the principles of gaming modifications to see that the weapons are supposed to justify the mod's title.
