super sluggish

well its not technically 'lag' since my ping stayed the same, but it reminds me of lag because its jolting me back and forth as i try to run forward, and it blurs my graphics harshly.

recycled mentioned to me that it could possibly be my vid card.  that would make sense to me since i never clean dust out of my pc lol  I guess i have to try another game online to see if thats the case?

I'll fire up Battlefield later tonight and check it out.

i will think about the config thing... lol

update:

When I started playing Team Fortress 2 it made me go to a site and update my vid driver. Since then my q2 has been good so yeah I need a new vid card, and ram...

if your video drivers were bad, and updating them fixed the problem (which is what i thought this was to begin with )
then why would you need a new video card and ram?

I don't need to buy them to run q2 of course...  but I like playing new games and I can't run them very well at all on this pc the way it is now.

i need to save cash, times are tough.  i got like 200 dollars in gift cards but no where good like future shop

like come on people... i dont like clothes shopping i like gaming!!!
