New game called DEAD SPACE coming out in Nov I think. Looks like it's going to be pretty sick, especially if you have a sick system to run it on.

From what I hear it incorperates Bioshock, F.E.A.R and DOOM all in one scary package. (story techniques from F.E.A.R with the interactivity and sheer desperation and sound of Bioshock with a story plot similar to DOOM)

Cube1 as it was released was the single worste video game experience of my life.

The engine looked intersting, but the gameplay right out of the box didn't forget to include any single bad idea from the history of video game making. I understand it's just a freeware engine and there was no emphasis on making good gameplay by the engine creators, in which case you should think of it like buying a nice car that needs new doors and a paint job.

Cube 1 was more like buying the frame to a mustang convertable. Neither the convertable portion, nor the auto mobile part, quite works yet.

I'm downloading cube 2 because I like the engine and I may start a new development project using it, however the gameplay as it is, I garuntee is worse. So if you're looking for a new game, and not a new engine, cube was a really really bad idea.

HOLY MONKEY NUTS

Cube 2's Sauer Braten is awesome.

The bullet weapons are a bit too powerful making the railgun useless.. however it's best described as a quake3/quake4 deathmatch that doesn't suck.

Single player still has a lot of bad ideas form Cube1, but once again obviously they weren't concerened about a good single player

This is based off the cube engine. it's pretty cool: you make the levels as you play the game.
