i've been working anywhere between 44-60 hours a week lately.. i'm surprised I have time to be dedicated to this at all

That many hours in a week would be considered a slow week for me, I typically put in at least 60 a week. Sometimes as many as 75-80.

Must be nice to not have to work so many hours

**SIGNUP DEADLINE EXTENDED**

Signups for 2nd Tourney have been extended of one week. This will give time for some practicing as well as focusing on the Final of the First Edition which will take place in that week.

So the Signups deadline is now Saturday, 23th July, at 18h00 EST - And the Tourney will kick-off Monday, the 25th July at 00h00.

Week-Rounds will therefore start on Mondays 00h00, and end on Sundays 24h00.

**Seeding**

1st Edition Ranking + Random is easy to apply in 1on1, but when it comes to 2on2 - it gets a bit messy. However, here's what I sketched on how the Seeding will be handled.

Since last tourney was a 64-slot tourney - a player's ranking goes till' 64. Players who haven't participated last tourney are given the 'rank' of 32 (being neutral, since we can't rank them). Why do they get a rank since we just agreed that they'd be randomly placed, well this is because some of them will be paired with people who 'have' participated in last tourney.

So players who played in 1st-Edition get a rank: i.e. 15
Players who haven't partcipated in 1st-Edition: 32

From there, we cumulate a 'Team' rank. Let's pick three teams already signed-up that will show the three possible kind of teams.

Laurelin / tr3y, both have participated in last tourney.
Laurelin: 21
tr3y: 42
Team Rank: 63

Naymlis / Bleach, one has played 1st Edition, the other hasn't.
Naymlis: 1/2
Bleach: 32 (as stated above, 1st-ed-less players get an automatic 32)
Team Rank: 33/34

deft / audacity, none has participated in 1st Edition
deft: 32
audacity: 32
Team Rank: Rankless

1)The First Seeded teams will be the Rankless ones (deft/audacity). Those will be randomly seeded (they have no ranking, since both are 1st-ed-less). If, for instance, there is 7 rankless teams and 9 ranked teams. The 7 rankless teams will be randomly seeded in the Slots first.

Afterwards, if there are more slots remaining than the number of Ranked teams (9) - the additional slots will be randomly picked and they will become 'BYE' slots.

The 9 ranked teams will be listed from the best rank to worst rank.
Naym/Bleach: 33
Laurelin/tr3y: 63
etc...

2)Respectively, they will be assigned to the best slots of the Brackets (in other words, slot 1,2,3,4,5 and so on...) which are available (since rankless teams might have taken that spot - or they might be BYE-slots).

Rebma-EM has been identified as the notorious GX-Scene cheater aka wiley/destrukt/lunchb0x/kthx etc. and has been kicked out from the Tourney.

That must have been the guy that came to tourney2 late last night with grunt and got kicked for botting. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the first time either. Would be great if someone could ban him from the servers.

Tie-Breaker maps for tourney have been chosen.

They are forced, each round has a different one, all from the Maplist. They do not affect the Map-Pick Restriction of 1.
