I wonder if he was playing with them 20 years ago when I saw them live? He'd be 16 or something...I doubt it,but was the Character there? I know I pissed off their Manager,the Latin guy with the styrofoam black beehive of a hair extention. I,of course,was being my suave subtle self and got on the guy's nerves...even Oderous wouldn't come back onstage. I was a beacon in a sea of Black Skull Shirts,with long blond hair,wearing a White Shirt with a very cool drawing of a close up of Larry Fine of the Three Stooges Glaring at the viewer. I used to wear it at work to subliminally convince customers to Ask Someone Else.And I was trying to get a chant of Gor Gor,and the venue was much too small to have their giant rubber dinosaur running around. I thought of that later...but I was just enjoying being among these weird bestial folk.I was making caveman noises when crowds were cheering ...very amused.But I let up when the Big Haired Latino Guy announced the next song as Murderama or somesuch,"and Not RAR RAR RAR RAR" he sneers,glaring at me,I smile and give a slight bow...and I start the -tthis is the name,maybe-"Slaughterama" to get things happy again,what they were planning on doing anyway...Shooting Jesus at one point,and playing with his rubber entrails or something nearly as inventive.Colorful pantomime atrocities. And water hoses with dye! Larry Fine got christened by jets of Blood and Piss,but Piss from their Barbarian Babe.Who knows about the blood...a GWAR stage show is like a celebration of the grotesque,and exactly why I appreciate it.

The Obituary made it into the New york Daily News...I was astonished. And had to reminiscence...a pity.

It wouldn't have been smoot, smoot has been with them since 2002 but there have been 6 different flattuses I believe, since the bands inception.

That sounds wild, I have only been to one GWAR show and it was incredible, but I was probably about 16 myself, wanted to go to one recently but they haven't played in the UK in awhile. It's a truly awesome spectacle, tis a GWAR show. I can't believe you pissed off sleazy P martini! hahaha!

Oh it was the shirt to start with...a real tight close up with stippling. He did one of Moe too,and I hunt for it until this day:Moe glaring with that face of granite hate. On a black T Shirt. But the Larry Fine...staring in baleful horror at you from a sea of black could be unnerving to some. Sleazy P Martini indeed. The caveman sounds didn't help ...
