k, when i saw War and Peace I just assumed you meant lots of words, which the huge monster tome IS - but more importantly it's got no plot structure(a point) and just resembles a historical panorama of Russia with a bunch of characters. Novel novel-making sure, but no overriding point.

I really don't feel like arguing about what the book's point was (or if there was one at all) .
The war and peace here was just a reference to the joke, that if you give a million monkeys a million typewriters, then supposedly in a million years they would accidentally come up with war and peace.
