this is a free quake client...and i don't think you need optimized code to get it to run at a high frame rate, hopefully you have a pc made within the last five years or so
it's the little things i find nice with r1q2, as for the security holes, i would imagine if there not related to a network exploit, and of course not on the client

DM server is fucked. 2 point blank rockets from spawn and lava damage and player survived? WTF?" Also someone has fucked with the spawn points, every single time no matter how big the map you spawn right in front of the person who killed you last
