I don't know what to tell you. That's completely unaltered, and contains everything said by console, BlowJob, and Chacal, during that time period. Yes I left out the extraneous stuff like "BoboTheChimp didn't see NuclearPineapple's handgrenade." If you want to see all that extra crap from the logfile I can post it somewhere... Anyway - it seems like you are thinking we're saying the "Quake 2 Evolved" client is some kind of cheat. No, we don't have any problem with clients that just enhance graphics, sounds, whatever.

However, something about your client made Q2ADMIN think it was a hack.

Today, I've been trying to figure out whether what we're seeing might be a bug in Q2ADMIN itself. In talking to other admins about "Quake 2 Evolved" I was told that "q2e is a horrible client" because it "breaks compatibility with tons of things."

Anyway, to clarify: We do not consider "Quake 2 Evoloved" or any other client that just enhances graphics & sounds to be a cheat.

However, Q2ADMIN thought something about your client was hacked.

We are still looking into it. If it turns out you were really just running Q2E and not some additional hack/cheat, then your ban will be removed.

What happened was I logged in that morning and told u guys the truth which happens to always be a mistake. I said i got this new client today i think its cheating. Console asks so your using that client now? I say yeah im just trying it out. Then I left after i bragged about some fps. Then I came back, i dont play well in the morning, i didnt win any games. i turned on some good music it happens the new computer handles music very well. I went in the zone and began whooping ass. I was using quake 2 evovled with enhanced textures thats it. i only changed the brightness and gamasettings eg thats all that was out of download spec and started owning everyone real hard. Then 5 frags b4 the end, nearest challenger hit 10 frags; i was banned after not responding to the way console was telling me not to use q2e. i don't respond to kick ways of relaying commands without speaking them out in the open. sure i can figure it out but i cant read your mind and i don't have to. Your not AOL. I DON'T HACK HACKING IS A WASTE OF TIME IM TOO OLD FOR THAT STUFF IM NOT STUPID. IM NOT THE BIGGEST NT PERSON ANYWHERE I REALIZE THAT.

Now, if you had come to the forums with the type of statement that you have made above, you more than likely would have gotten a nicer response from the people in this forum. Notice how you didn't swear, used somewhat complete sentences, attempted to actually explain what you think might have happened, and didn't write it all in caps. If all of these things had been done in the first place, perhaps then this thread wouldn't be 3 pages long and basically about whose penis is bigger, ect. I commend you on the above and implore you to maybe use that post as a template for other posts you might make.

You usually get further with someone if you are nice to them first.

BTW, there are multiple admins... So sometimes if you tell console something in the morning, later in the afternoon it's a different person with no knowledge of the earlier conversation.

Despite Q2ADMIN reporting your client was somehow hacked, I'm willing to believe you here... Q2ADMIN isn't perfect...
