Halp! Upgraded to Win8 / Core i7, can't get Q2 to work...SOLVED

Hey splinter are you able to play on the acme ctf servers?  After I upgraded to a computer with Windows 8.1 I could no longer use anticheat either, but I have a problem connecting to the acme ctf servers and have not been able to figure that one out.  I am about ready to just buy a copy of Windows 7 and ditch Windows 8 completely.

No. Anticheat is optional on all our servers....unless you are on a subnet where it's required due to previous cheat attempts.  If that is the case contact me and we can go from there.

Win8 and ac do not play well together so make sure you don't have anticheat.dll lurking in your Q2 directory. If you can't connect after removing it reboot and try again, even on different server ports. If you still can't connect....contact me, preferably thru acmectf.com.
